many radio stations take the joy right out of listening. so much current music is formulaic fodder. 'classic rock' stations are a joke, it's non-stop zeppelin/floyd/blah blah blah.

unless you are genuinely interested in the sport or the outcome of a game for whatever reason, it's quickly reduced to small talk, just like the weather. too many times, while clicking through the channels looking for something on TV, i've seen pro sports athlete in victory interview: "i knew if we could stay ahead in points, we would win the game". D'oh.

I only listen to Christian music, because there is truth there that I always relate to.

I hate sports...so I don't talk about them ever. I have to keep my mouth shut a lot concerning govt, paranormal[ufos/aliens, and my beliefs concerning a plethora of conspiracies...most people don't want to hear or talk news...just gossip. Since I don't keep up with the mediocre lives of famous people, I tend to mostly talk about my faith and my children.

My boss admits to liking having her head in the sand...ce la vi
