Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi, who has been denied entrance into the United States since 1999 and who is one of the top spiritual leaders for several Muslim organizatoins and who is also a spiritual guide to terrorist organizations, has announced the establishment of the "International Council of Muslim Clerics. ('Ulama)

At a conference on "Jihad and Denying its Connection to Terror" in Stockholm held by the European Council for Fatwa and Research in July 2003, Al-Qaradhawi stated, "The martyrdom operations carried out by the Palestinian factions to resist the Zionist occupation are not in any way included in the framework of prohibited terrorism, even if the victims include some civilians."

In describing the goals of the council, Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi made clear that it will be an Islamist council by emphasizing its future role in countering trends speaking for reform Islam: "The general overall goal is to preserve the identity of the Islamic nation, and its essential entity � to protect it against the attacks that seek to tear it from its roots and change the identity of the [Islamic] nation and turn it into a different nation with a different philosophy that will make it merely a tail, while Allah has created it to be the head; make it a nation in vassalage to others, while [its destiny] is to be followed by others; and to preserve the message of the nation in its true Islamic face, and to counter the destructive currents that want to change the identity of the nation and also to counter even the inner currents that seek to change the nature of Islam and make of it a religion of violence or something like that. We are against these currents and we seek to highlight the civilized face and the message of Islam�"

The report also states other comments that Al-Qaradhawi has made in relation to Islam and terrorism. Some of his comments include the interview in BBC2 TV, after his arrival in England on July 7th 2004, where he stated that Islam justifies the suicide bombings in Iraq on U.S. soldiers, and in Israel against women and children. He also stated in his weekly religious program, in which Al-Jazeera presented Muhammad as the role model for jihad warriors, Al-Qaradhawi mentioned that there are two types of Jihad, one in which you seek to repulse an attack by invaders and one in which you seek to invade in order to spread Islam and remove any obstacles in the way.

Under British law -

can he be removed, because of his several highly provocative remarks, including justifying wife-beating and the murder of Israelis?

In other words, anything goes, including terrorism, when it comes to Islam, the religion of "peace".

This is a direct threat to the civilized world. We should do the civilized thing and remove this cancer from our midst, or at least make it impossible for him to spread his vomitage while standing on civilized soil.

Actually according to the new law that they want in Britain, it seems so.

"The British government wants a new law that would make it a crime to incite religious hatred. The government proposals were announced yesterday, and British Muslim organizations have largely welcomed them. Others, however, fear the law could stifle religious freedom and debate.

Also, even thou this cleric has been banned form the U.S. because of his ties to terrorism and many times making extremist statement, iit seems that he still holds a lot of power in U.S. soil.

" � The Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) is building a new mosque which they intend to be one of the grandest in the country. Arabic-language brochures boast that the project has the backing of the radical Sheikh Yusuf Abdullah al-Qaradawi, an Egyptian now based in Qatar.

In English, the ISB claims that al-Qaradawi �has never played any role in the ISB.� However, the Boston Herald reports that �records show al-Qaradawi�s name was listed on federal tax forms as recently as 2001 as a member of the society�s board of directors.� The ISB is not alone in embracing Qaradawi: establishment Islamic scholar John Esposito has praised him as a champion of a �reformist interpretation of Islam.�

Yet Qaradawi has justified suicide bombings, specifically praising such attacks against Israeli civilians. In this he works from tenets of Islamic law that forbid attacks against civilians unless they are aiding the war effort � and Qaradawi sees everyone in Israel in this category. Also, according to the Herald, Qaradawi exclaimed at a Muslim youth group convention in Toledo in 1995: �We will conquer Europe, we will conquer America! Not through (the) sword, but through Da�awa [preaching].� The Herald adds that �in March 2003, al-Qaradawi issued a religious ruling, a fatwa, encouraging Muslim women, as well as men, to become suicide bombers in the name of Allah and jihad.� "

Qaradawi is to be the guest of the Muslim Association of Britain, which aligned with the far-left Socialist Workers Party in creating an antiwar coalition.

Sheikh Yusef al-Qaradawi greeted his audience in London with the words "peace - the message of Islam." But in an exclusive interview with Newsnight he spoke of suicide bombings by Palestinians as "martyrdom in the name of God.":

Q: Does Islam justify suicide bombings in Israel?

Dr. Yussuf al-Qaradawi: "It is not suicide, it is martyrdom in the name of God."

Q: What about innocent women and children who are the victims?

Dr. Yussuf al-Qaradawi: Israeli women are not like women in our society because Israeli women are militarized. Secondly...through his infinite wisdom [Allah] has given the weak what the strong do not possess and that is the ability to turn their bodies into bombs like the Palestinians do.
