Stopped as in the middle of a conversation: Yes. I just got bored and walked away.

Stopped as in haven't talked to them for a long time: Yes. I told her that her boyfriends are actually "flavors of the week", and she isn't thinking of her children. Trying to be the good friend. She left and didn't talk to me for three years. When she came back to "visit" and acted like nothing happened, I closed the door in her face.
