Patriot Act, a Nazi law: Ex-CIA official

Found an interesting statement of a former CIA officer.
I always thought there is much with Nazi Germany and present USA (other western countries too in less degree) in case of similarities.

“The Patriot Act was similar to legislation carried out by the Nazis because essentially it was using terrorism in both cases as an excuse to strip civil liberties that were enjoyed in both countries; in the United States and Germany,” Phillip Giraldi said in an interview with Press TV.

I have found a lot of times sources for news about the US found outside
the US definitely give more information. It appears that they are not censored,
as they are here.

One of the dead giveaways early on that the what is happening in the US has ties to
the early take over of Germany by Hitler is the use of certain words. Using the word
"Homeland" sent shivers down my back the first time I heard it come out of Bushes mouth.

The only way anything will change here is for people to see what is happening and do something
about it. Any fool can talk...it takes a hero to stand up and be noticed.

There are numerous ways to do this...learn from your "enemy"....

That's because presstv is a mouthpiece propaganda center for the Iranian regime.Its sole purpose is to cause problems in the US, I really wouldn't expect anything less than this from them.

The Nazis were copying US nationalism back then. Now we're copying them. Just a case of one-upsmanship.

At The US will try to outdo them in other ways. We have a good start going.

Seeing the US going down the "Weimar Republic" Route right now,its not too farfetched to think that (The only Difference right now is probably that the Dollar is the Worlds Reserve Currency) Though i´ll take any News on any Site with a grain of Salt...too much Propaganda everyhwere.

I think when you quote someone it cant be bad propaganda, just a quote.

Is everything very good right now in the USA, so they have to do this in order to stir things up?
