I can't think of a better way to discredit the Rendelsham event than having mediums and psychics weigh in on it on a national stage. Worst. Move. Ever, Nick.

I see a lot of Nick Pope bashing going on here, and no ones even seen the show yet!

At the end of the day everyone needs to make a living, Nick was approached to make the show and made it.

He is known for working at the MOD ufo desk so it pretty obvious he is going to continue a career in ufology so long as it pays the bills.

Ufo Hunters and the Jessy files are just as laudable yet i dont see much bashing when these programmes air.

Nick has given me his thoughts on quite a few cases i have looked into over the years and is always willing to respond to any messages from any members of the public as and when he has time to do so.

Nick also talks on talksport radio during the ian collins show and touches all kinds of conspiracy subjects along with the current top news headlines, not just ufos. Therefore does he deserve a bashing for talking about other subjects rather than ufo's or give him a clap for broadning his field of research??

I will certainly pass this link to Nick and it will be up to him if he cares to post. Though going by the moronic responses and the general collapse of the ufo forums on here due to said moronic responses to ALL posts he be quite right to give this post a complete miss.

If the show airs in the US, I'll probably watch it. I wouldn't believe a word anyone says but I don't already on other UFO/paranormal shows I watch. I often enjoy the ride but realize the destination is pretend land (and I'm a UFO believer). Also, that Emily chick could easily hold my attention for an hour or so.

Does anyone know when this is/was supposed to be on? Because I can't find anything on the net with it after searching a bit. Not that I think it'll be good, just can't seem to find anything about it.

For me Pope is as untrustworthy as they come in ufology,if
he told me it was Sunday I`d check my calendar.
Seemed to appear from nowhere in the early 90`s
as an mod spokesman, and later as a self professed investigator into
the ufo and abduction phenomenon, even going as far to hint that
he himself was an abductee.
Another one in it for the money, and possibly a govt plant all imo of
course.
Oh and Derek Acorah LOL

What a load of drivell!!! I don't expect the viewing figures to go through the roof.
I think Mr Pope has run out of ideas and scenarios to carry on his quest to find out what exactly is going on.
I imagine he was the MOD tea boy, nothing more. He carries on as if he is in league with Mr Asange.

I find this new stunt a bit cringworthy!!! You want to see a real UFO? I have one on my BB. Taken by myself, hovering above a tree. They can't debunk that! When i've worked out how to download it, your welcome to see it!

As for the characters in Mr Popes show? Looks like the cast from Miss Marpel!

My guess - you will never see on it TV.

It's billed as a trailer for a pilot, so they are probably shopping it around wherever they can. Given the appalling amount of grammatical mistakes in the titles, etc., I don't think it's going to be picked up anytime soon. Then again, UFOs + psychics, who knows, maybe somebody will bite.

As for Pope's involvement, it's strange, but perhaps this Mr. Wookey and/or Ms. Booth folks talked a good game, and he agreed to do their show without realizing what a low budget farce it would be, and being a man of his word, went through with his promise. Perhaps he was charmed by this Ms. Emily Booth.

I mean, I have no idea why he's in it, but if we're going to speculate, might as well give him the benefit of the doubt, rather than accusing him of conspiring to rubbish the entire Rendlesham incident because he decided to join a Sunday league football version of the Psychic Detectives.

Nick would be in alot of trouble right now, if he were still 'fancying' Miz Booth. He married this February to an assistant Professor of Anthropology, Miss Elizibeth Weiss. This girl is odd to me though. Is it just me, or does she seem odd. I'm not jealous, I'm not attracted to Nick, he's a short funny looking guy. Here is his new wifes website. It looks like nothing but a slideshow of her from different angles, up close, so that you can see how big and long and frizzy her hair is, and how skinny she is, holding a bone, looking like she's actually doing something scientific, but she's just holding a bone, so that you can see different angles of her up close, to view, "See how skinny I am, and how big and long and frizzy my hair is?!"
www.anthrosciences.com...
But if you were working in a place like that, full of fragile sterile relics, would you not want to have all that big long frizzy hair pulled up snug, and a labcoat on over your skinny figure?

The files of the Rendlesham Forest Incident have gone missing. This fact alone should keep Pope on utube.I couldn't count the numbers I'd see him on a tube and he had nothing to say.Never!

It looks as though you are right - according to:

www.companiesintheuk.co.uk...

the production company ceased trading and was dissolved as of 14 Mar 11. Pity, I was looking forward to a good laugh....

I had some contact a couple of months ago (in May 2012) with the people behind that company.

Apparently, they are still "currently looking for a channel to purchase this programme".

I was offered the opportunity to view some of the material for "a fee".

Have you tried National Geographic's Chasing UFOs?

They discuss a UFO incident for two minutes then spend the rest of the program abseiling, white-water rafting, falling off logs and wandering around in the pitch dark looking for flying saucer crash debris. They also have a verbal code that triggers an ad break -"Oh my god!"

With the cameras mounted in front of the presenters' faces you get to see more unidentified objects up Ryder's left nostril than you do in the sky.

To me, Rendlesham Forest incident is partially solved - not aliens. Here is why:

The Rendlesham incident can't be solved. Thanks to the ignorance of the internet conspiracy crowd, no explanation will suffice, and in fact will only serve to reinforce their delusions and or absurd beliefs.

You mean that silly explanation offered by debunkers that the mystery flying lights were caused by the Orford Ness lighthouse on the coast? (sorry, mate. Wrong direction)

Ignoring the testimonies of Lt Col. Charles Halt:
"I believe the objects that I saw at close quarter were extraterrestrial in origin and that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted—both then and now—to subvert the significance of what occurred at Rendlesham Forest and RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation."
Sergeant Jim Penniston, Larry Warren and other US servicemen amounts to burying your head in the sand. But, of course, that's about all you can do, given the mountain of mutually confirming evidence provided by many servicemen that cannot be dismissed in such a facile, childish way.
Hide your head in the sand

I don't know what happened at Rendlesham but I bet Linda Moulton-Howe would see the value in your Nazi Germans explanation. Maybe Penniston should have another look at the note-book in case a couple of pages are stuck together?

If you have the time, a long-time researcher Jerry Cohen, has written an interesting analysis of 'The Rendlesham Forest UFO Case.' See what you think.

It makes perfect sense to me to involve mediums, psychics in a UFO investigation because it is all the same phenomena ...interdimensional enitities.

No... I meant to link the OP not my own post. It is the similarity with Alchemist symbols that make it partially solved for me... This is like only a work of a man and it is clear that someone is trying to pose as aliens.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This means that the case can only be:

- a surprise exercise done to test those guarding the base in such situation of an intruder
- a RAF/US AF secret aircraft that flew over to 'troll' the base and test its own capabilities to spy from close, the symbols being drawn to look like it's aliens..
- the same as above done by the Chinese, the Russians or others
- this has been all disinformation and the story told by Penniston - a lie - the marks and prints in the soil just fabricated to give more truth to the case, the recorded sound was also fabricated to sound more real

Especially the part with seeing Binary Code, writing that down, uncovering it saying 'Exploration Humanity' sounds too far fetched all of a sudden to be of any truth, it all looks like a lie.

As for Nazi, I do not think that necessarily some base of 4th Reich exists. The followers of Hitler are people who we know are neonazists, who want to re-live the glory of the 3rd Reich, however, no evidence and even stories exist that they moved to Antarctica...

Some say that the UFOs over the Capitol in (err 1952? )were belonging to Nazi (I think Maximillien de L.... says it)

I have seen I think only fake pics of saucer like Nazi projects with symbols.. To me this was one of the most real and even alien-related cases in the past, now my objectivity tells me the opposite. The Alchemist symbols are too much of an evidence for leaning in that direction.

Now I don't like seeing the name 'Jim Oberg' in links because it tells me - shallow subjectivity.

I can hardly believe Penniston and his mate...
