I think it's tragic...but I'm thinking a black ops mk ulltra type thing. Next they will have a reason to take guns away...see how it works? I feel he was just a small minded ginny pig.

Why does this have to involve anything as exotic and untestable as absolute mind control? Have any videos surfaced showing this guy doing the shooting? Has any evidence been presented that points to this guy, for that matter? I mean except for stories fed to us by those badged liars. I fail to see why everyone assumes he was the one who did the shooting. He never owned a gun before yet he pops off 30 or 40 rounds from a Glock in a few seconds, reloading in the middle? And the 911 call suggests he fled the scene. How was he apprehended on scene if he fled the scene already? And we're given these stories that a woman disarmed him, that an elderly man tackled him, it's feeble to say the least. I see no reason to think this guy was involved at all. Saying he was a mind control assassin presupposes he was even there at the time. So far I see no evidence that he was. If this was a publicity event, where are the numerous recordings of it that must exist? Surely at least her own staff would be there recording.

JLL's mind was not in control...in fact it was out of control. Believe me I have torn this case apart regarding himself. As much as I like a good conspiracy as every one else on here this is not one of them. Sometimes we have to step back and just see something for what it is. All these inconsistencies of her dying at the scene or the 911 tapes of him running away...well imagine the chaos. Guns shooting' bullets flying into the crowd of people running ducking falling to the ground. Not one can be able to stand and just watch all that is happening. Everyone is running around scared trying to help the wounded. Holding their children close to them...falling to the ground screaming crying yelling. He was extremely depressed, confused alone and wanted answers that no one could give him. Giffords pissed him off. He believed that she could help him or give him answers...when she ignored him or his questions he flipped. The one person he felt that was able to help or listen to him turned her back. His last effort to be understood. His only chance for answers. So he lost it and did this terrible tragedy....killed her with something she so believed in contoling. Shot her with one of the guns she wanted to control. A slap in the face in his eyes.

There is allot of evedence showing him to be the one who pulled the trigger. He was a "violent" mentaly ill person.
The kind that a black budget mk ultra type thing looks out for! Notice his smile in every picture? The guy is nuts.

In the flag burning video at around 5:20 something whizzes past the screen, it looks like a bird. I've tried to isolate frames of it but it looks very blurred. It looks to me like it might be 2 or 3 frames perhaps. Maybe somebody better at manipulating video than me can grab some stills of it.

Jared walks off to that side off camera and a few seconds later, something swoops down as if to land on his shoulder. It could be an insect close to the camera flying by but very odd indeed...

Posted this elsewhere on this forum but maybe it'd get more thoughts/responses since this thread mentions the bird:

This may not mean anything, probably mostly crap but it popped into my head as I was trying to sleep last night.

Loughner's infamous flag burning video mentioned a "rare bird on his shoulder"......the symbol for the US is the eagle, right? Being on his shoulder? Has anybody played video games where your character is viewed mostly from the back? Games like Gears of War for example?

They're known as 3rd person shooters due to the view being, you guessed it, over the shoulder.

World of Warcraft could be lumped into the 3rd person description since you're looking over the character's shoulder there too. Didn't someone on ATS suggest Loughner played WoW and got some clan names etc from that game's mythology and character base?

Perhaps the rare bird on his shoulder meant the US Government or a part of it were following close behind him, watching and controlling his every move just like we do when we play these video games?

He also says to play the video in reverse. Some have taken it to mean that the US is like a phoenix rising from the ashes but the thought that came to my mind last night was this.

He burns the flag, a metaphor for the US and its liberties being killed off and destroyed, turned to ashes. The message to reverse the video apparently comes near the end so when you do so and watch, the flag rises from the ashes.

BUT.....maybe he means that in a different way? The message is at the end meaning you can turn back the video to see the flag risen again but by then it's too late, it's already destroyed and all you're doing is looking back at the past to see something that's already gone.

Hopefully you all understand this cause I'm trying to figure out the symbolism myself but rather than attempt to start my own thread I'd post in here.

The Bird Quote reminds me of a military insignia.
“On the right shoulder of the dress uniform the soldier may wear the patch of the unit to which the soldier was assigned” (Wiki)
When birds are depicted they are usually looking to one side hence the one eye.
Also would explain why there is no gender.
If we could identify an insignia that matches this description it may reveal some more info or "Chat about the government.
Mayhaps something to do with project phoenix.
Have looked through some insignia but so far no match.

Just tossing this in to a few threads for review. (60 minutes segment 1-16-11) Hear what his friends had to say about him. Also clear indication of how he fit into tidy little "nut job" profiles. Some rather startling revelations. (FBI makes sure potential nut jobs take their meds, most assanations are not political etc.) Worth watching even if you have to sit through a few Viagra commercials.

What YOU are saying sounds pretentious! I have read most of these books and many of them are also my favorites. What is so hard to believe about JLL having read these books? These books aren't very difficult to read. Many people in middle school and high school read a good chunk of what's listed. You don't have to be an English major! lol

He claimed to be obsessed with literacy. Maybe he truly was. Instead of going around pretentiously saying "I majored in English so I would know if he read these books or not".. you should realize that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to read these CLASSIC books. These books are not occult or esoteric. They aren't shrouded in mystery. They are readily available and well known.

Where does he say his beliefs are spelled out in the Republic? Or ANY of these books? Just because a book is in his favorites list does not mean he believes in it's message.

Sorry for the many posts people.

Yes, I minored in Philsophy and did study calculus in university. I have read that despite his not doing well in school, he DID excel in his Philosophy courses. And I'm not surprised... he would have been a great student to have in my philosophy courses. Philosophy professors relish in having students that come up with these kinds of ideas. We had a few ourselves. (Although there are a few bad seeds when it comes to profesors in any dept. Those who feel the need to shoot down new & innovative ideas that students come up with to keep their own egos inflated.)

JLL was using formats one would have been taught to use in Logic courses. A lot of people scoff at his format (accusing him of trying to be cryptic) but I'm guessing they have never taken a course in Logic (math/Philosophy) so they just don't realize that he is using a simple Logic structure, as you pointed out (If-Then-In Conclusion/Therefor).

This is not to say the conclusions necessarily follow.... or that even his premise are true. If they're false the whole formula is useless. You have to build upon TRUE statements.

I have to agree .. It's really strange to not hear anything on the news at all .. not even anything about this Jared's parent. I think I heard one thing was that his mom used to work for FEMA ?? He looks like a skin head who's photo was online way long time ago who was suspected for trying to assassinate Bush Or Obama. Yeah that incident wasn’t well publicized either. There were 5 of them is what I can recall I did take a glance of the pictures of the ones that were online ..

I can’t remember who it was that was back in 2008 around the election time and I think the attempt took place in Denver Colorado the police arrested some individuals and I don’t know what ever became of that news I'm sure it's still out there.

I also can't understand why if they say she is doing just fine and is ok she hasn’t even been on the news .. So here’s my thought on that it must have to do with disfiguration of her face or head and that is really something that is so very sad .. that little girl too .. so horrible .. So I think Gabby is alive but still has lots to go before she even is in the public .. I can understand that .. most likely plastic surgery and who knows .. Does she even know what happened to herself wonder what Gabby knows about the shooting .. or if she even remembers anything ..

No, I have to disagree with this whole racist/skin head slant. Yes..he is white. Yeah,,his head is now shaved. But if you look at his most recent friends, they are a spectrum of races: asian, hispanic, etc. etc.

Plus he rails against the racist gaming industry on here.

Debating whether to make a new Q&A thread on this case, but for now I will post this here.

I have noticed that people are saying that Gifford's did not give an answer to Loughner when he asked what government is when words have no meanings.

But I just read an article from der Spiegel that says she DID answer him.... in SPANISH.
And her inadequate answer angered him.

This is very interesting to me because he mentions that he can't wait to speak spanish with (unknown person).... on the earth empires forum.

Please, tell me your interpretations.
