Introduction from the bayou state

Hello to everyone here at ATS.

I have been coming here for a while, reading the views and input on different topics that ''caught my eye'' so to speak.
To say the least, I am greatful to have found a place to talk with like minds, and discuss various subject matter that otherwise is avoided by most.

I know the things in which I myself have seen, heard, felt, and made/been aware of. So in the matter of things I have not experienced myself, I try to keep an open mind.
I heard the saying once,
'' A closed mind, filling an open mouth breeds only ignorance.''
and I guess you could say it kind of stuck with me.

Lol , as for a cajun yodel, never heard one but I'd be willing to bet it's definetly different.
