I bet it was hard to judge.There were at least a couple more I read that I can see on the list too, but everybody there has a kickbutt short story.

Worthy winners all! I'm in awe of the talent that we have here. Many thanks to everyone who contributed. Not sure if this comp had the biggest entry list ever, but it was sure a great theme idea.

This was the first writing contest I had ever entered. I feel humbled to have been even considered to be in the ranks of the outstanding writers here at ATS. Great, now I have another hobby to add to my list.

Wow, just wow, I never thought that would happen.

First, I'd like to thank the academy, God, my parents...

Seriously, I did not think I would win, many others had excellent contributions.

Between job seeking, Boy Scouts, and writing other threads I forgot the end of the contest date.
