Of course he doesnt no one does, that is a given. How does one defend the grotesque misogyny plastering his pages? It goes well beyond a couple bad experiences with American women. This blog is straight out of woman hating 101.

We are not talking about rape, don't be dramatic.

I would call what uk gov does to me is rape. They use electronic mind control on me 24/7 because i felt as this guy did but in uk.

So in effect they violate me everyday of my life, which is what rape is.

There is of course males out there that feel that way, and why he chooses to broadcast it is beyond me, but good for him, i have never liked females either and they set out to absolutely destroy my life period.

So there is a massive double standard in society.

I am not interested in defending his views... I will say this:
He doesn't hate all women, just dislikes American women. Can people no longer have preferences?

His desires run counter to the majority of American culture, he is removing himself from the dating game, and he is complaining on the internet. Overall I'd say the guy is pretty harmless and don't understand why you were searching for something to get outraged over...

Personally, I don't think his views matter in the slightest, I just wanted to correct any "just-world theory" nonsense I knew I was going to see in this thread.

Where did you find this blog anyways?
What I mean is....how did you stumble upon it?

Were you searching for complaining men?

I give you credit where its due though...
At least you didn't take the latest Yahoo! headline.

Personally I applaud the guy for his blog.... he lets women know right off that hes a nut. If most men let us know that their crazy, there would be alot less painful relationships. Because we dont have the ability to read each others minds we have to see for ourselves, and sometimes the person is "acting" like someone their not.

Time will tell, but this guy came right out and said it. If women decided to boycott men, the world of men would be chaotic. I say learn to make yourself happy.. set the bar yourself. Whether we like it or not, men and women/partners sometimes need each other.

Peace, NRE.

From the headline I was expecting a foreign-born author as I have heard similar remarks from who hail from places where women are still treated like cattle.
Obviously this fellow has been badly hurt, probably several times. I don't see a switch to non-American women being the cure for the writer. Seems like he needs to look within himself and take stock of things.
IMHO American women were raised for generations by deluded mothers who came from a long chain of delusion. As proof I recall women who made life hell for all involved when it came to their "perfect wedding day". Maintaining childhood dreams and expectations when one is an adult is a recipe for disaster.
Even more alarming are the 30 different magazines lining every supermarket check-out I've stood in for the past many years. Monthly how-to manuals that aim to help women hunt down a man is disturbing. And this crap is shoved down American womens throats coast-to-coast. The bulk of those magazines are an insult to modern women.
Meanwhile, the cosmetics industry continues to annually sell millions of dollars worth of hope to women, many of whom wouldn't dare dream of leaving their apartment without the full war-paint treatment. Sure, keeping telling me you want to look nice for you. Yeah, right. Really?
The nice thing about so many American women is that, when it comes to a man, it does not matter how short, bald, fat, disgusting or sleazy he is - as long as he has a nice, big, thick wallet.

I think what might be missing is the fact that at some point men decided that their lives would be based on beer commercials, and porn movies. There was a time when mothers taught their sons that women were not objects, and then media stepped in, and decided to teach men that women are not only objects, but property, without much value.

Women in turned fell for it, and decided to make a competition out of it, to compete against other women for men that frankly, aren't even worth it. Women have only not only felt like they have to compete against each other, but also women on t.v, and ads. If women decided to be themselves, instead of trying to compete, then men would act differently as they would then realize that the women on t.v, would never give them the time of day.

Peace, NRE.

There was a cultural difference but their confidence in themselves was mightily attractive, and their accents kept me in a perpetual state of "horny"

But they are still women who want what women want the world over and im f@@ked if i know what THAT is

Yeah!

How did you know?

I was putty in their hands when they just said hello.

Asking them what they wanted for breakfast ended with a weekend lost

Memories...

Ignore negative comments.

You Yank chicks are sexy and loving, and i have been the greatfull recipiant!

It was not their fault i was going through a horny, immature wanker phase in my life, it was all me!

Had it have been now there would be wedding bells for sure!

It takes practice to know what a woman wants and needs. I've been loved and dumped but I'm not a quitter.
The enjoyment is in the journey, the exploration, the quest....

Resentments won't get you anywhere...

You should see the crap I see about men everyday. "I hate men!" "Men Suck!"

I have female friends that do the same crap. Do they get a pass because they are female?

Regardless, social issues like this do nothing but tear people apart and mean nothing in the long run.

I hate that! I cannot stand anyone who is always going on about I hate men or I hate women, and then proceed to give us ad nauseum all the reasons they hate them. And I wonder if they hear themselves, the negativity.

I think he's got quite a few points.

I never thought about it until I came to Japan. One night, I had a couple of my friends wives ask me why American women want to be their husband's mothers instead of their partners in marriage..

The stereotypical American woman - that which the OP refers to - is pretty well known outside of the USA. Sorry guys, no one here understands them either.

That guy is a hoot! He has some points.. but fails miserably because he doesnt seem to want to accept any responsibility for his choices.
As a woman.. now an older woman with younger family members who are dating... I feel sorry for ANYONE who is dating or looking for a mate out there. There are some seriously screwed up folks in this last generation or so. My poor daughter may have to send out satellite signals to another planet to find a normal mate.. some of these young men she has had over to the house fall well below the mark. Bunch of girlie boys..

My dear cousin has been married 7 times. Its of course ALL the womans fault. Id think by the 3rd time he would have to look at himself a little to see just what his malfunction is that this kind of gold digging trash is all he seems to either attract or settle for. Nope, it took his latest divorce from #7 ( including financial devastation, child custody issues, 24/7 drama, and turning 50) for him to question himself, his methods, and his own culpability in it all just a little.

Men and women both, if you find yourself being constantly used and abused with everyone you decide to settle for... better look in the mirror.

If you read the blog it becomes rapidly apparent that the problem the author has is with feminism and the double standards that it implies.

Point by point analysis of his intro:

-Most likely to cheat on you
American women are sexually liberated. Any good radical feminist knows that sexual liberation has always come from the desire of men in power to make women sexually available. Young girls are brainwashed into thinking that their sexuality is a tool to advance in life.

-Most likely to divorce you
This needs little explanation. American marriages are the most likely to dissolve.

-Most likely to get fat
All Americans are likely to get fat.

-To steal half of your money in the divorce courts
How heavily do divorce courts favour women, especially mothers? Inquiring minds must know.

-Don't know how to cook or clean
Another byproduct of the sexual revolution. The overthrow of gender roles never, ever entailed the overthrow of masculine gender roles. Popular feminism denigrates the feminine gender roles and promotes women in masculine roles. The tasks performed in feminine gender roles are lost. How many Americans can cook for themselves anymore?

-Don't want to have children
They get in the way of a career.

All of the author's complaints are with the worst kind of feminist; the common feminist. They don't want to be trapped in female gender roles, and this fear leads them to become masculine exploiters and rapists in the broader sense. Functional feminism sees female gender roles as essential and valuable, whereas common feminism regards female gender roles as prisons and implicitly reinforce misogynistic attitudes. For all any of you know, this author values the traditional female gender roles and would treat a woman who filled those roles with respect and dignity. That was always the struggle of feminists; to win genuine respect for the hard work that they performed in society, to earn recognition for their labours.

This blog is about the popular misconception of what it means to be a feminist and the disintegration of American society due to the failure of the feminist movement to uplift women.

P.S. You don't need to fill a feminine role just because you are biologically female, but neither should you denigrate it just because feminists instruct you to.
edit on 6-1-2011 by SmedleyBurlap because: (no reason given)

P.P.S. The double standard is, of course, that it is OK to criticise men for being men, but it is not OK to criticise 'liberated' women for being men.

FINAL P.S. Andrea Dworkin.
