go to right now, the first link says

'Autism-vaccine link called 'fraud' '

Then when you click on the link the headline changes:

"Doctor defends retracted autism study"

Quite a different topic. the autism/vaccine link has been called a fraud numerous times. It is no longer news. But the doctor defending the retracted paper is news, further indicating the front page link is poor journalism.

Speaking on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360," Dr. Andrew Wakefield said Wednesday he has been the target of "a ruthless, pragmatic attempt to crush any attempt to investigate valid vaccine safety concerns."

This obviously won't last long as they will most likely change it.

just as a side note: the piece was actually fair and balanced, almost leaning towards defending wakefield, but alas the editors thought differently. catch the news before its gone.

Hmm, Here in Holland they want to vaccinate children for the Mexican-flew. I was thinking, when the birds falling out of the sky dead. And the fish are dying in a mysterious way, we all should not eat things like fish, of chicken. Lik the time with the Samonella.

London - The first study to link a childhood vaccine to autism was based on doctored information about the children involved, according to a new report on the widely discredited research.

The conclusions of the 1998 paper by Andrew Wakefield and colleagues was renounced by 10 of its 13 authors and later retracted by the medical journal Lancet, where it was published.

Still, the suggestion the MMR shot was connected to autism spooked parents worldwide and immunisation rates for measles, mumps and rubella have never fully recovered.

A new examination found, by comparing the reported diagnoses in the paper to hospital records, that Wakefield and colleagues altered facts about patients in their study.

The analysis, by British journalist Brian Deer, found that despite the claim in Wakefield's paper that the 12 children studied were normal until they had the MMR shot, five had previously documented developmental problems.

Celebrity supporters

Deer also found that all the cases were somehow misrepresented when he compared data from medical records and the children's parents.

Wakefield could not be reached for comment despite repeated calls and requests to the publisher of his recent book, which claims there is a connection between vaccines and autism that has been ignored by the medical establishment.

Wakefield now lives in the US where he enjoys a vocal following including celebrity supporters like Jenny McCarthy.

Deer's article was paid for by the Sunday Times of London and Britain's Channel 4 television network. It was published online on Thursday in the medical journal, BMJ.

In an accompanying editorial, BMJ editor Fiona Godlee and colleagues called Wakefield's study "an elaborate fraud". They said Wakefield's work in other journals should be examined to see if it should be retracted.

Last May, Wakefield was stripped of his right to practice medicine in Britain. Many other published studies have shown no connection between the MMR vaccination and autism.

But measles has surged since Wakefield's paper was published and there are sporadic outbreaks in Europe and the US. In 2008, measles was deemed endemic in England and Wales.

Not every vaccine has the same constituent chemicals.

Therefore, it is not Vaccines in general that cause negative deformities.

Only some vaccines have the specific toxic chemicals in them.

See, some vaccines are relatively safe, although most aren't.

WHY is the USA and EU phasing out Thiomersal???? WHY if its so SAFE???

Busted. Now we know what was causing all the adverse effects.
But why would they remove it if it's so safe for babies to have injected in their bodies??

Thiomersal is very toxic by inhalation, ingestion, and in contact with skin (EC hazard symbol T+), with a danger of cumulative effects. It is also very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in aquatic environments (EC hazard symbol N).[9] In the body, it is metabolized or degraded to ethylmercury (C2H5Hg+) and thiosalicylate.[3]

Can someone say busted?

They are taking it outta the vaccines!!

We actually won a battle against big business! "Zomfg"

And they admitted they were poisoning our children when they REMOVED IT.

No it's not journalism at all.

It's corporate propaganda designed to promote sales while POSING as a "news source".

If you think it's actual "news", you will be more likely to purchase the products that the advertisers are promoting.

The reason the Pharma Corp is trying to cover their tracks right now so ravenously, is because of lawsuit potentials.

Millions of people could class action sue the crap outta them over various vaccine related illnesses, SIDS, deformities, etc etc.

And that would open the doors for even more lawsuits against all medications across the board from top to bottom.
And that would finally cut into the profits enough to kill the industries bottom line products.

But we have the perfect ability to create tons of new lawsuits with merit that could topple these giants of the drug trade.

They tell you street drugs are dangerous right? But I have peer reviewed scientific literature that proves these pharmaceutical corporations are pushing deadly toxins as "medicine".

Although I completely agree with your idea of lawsuits and bringing the corporations down, here's a question.

What if they respond by raising market prices for medicine in general? What if the corporations just raise prices in response to the lawsuits causing more and more people not to have access to medicine, some life saving? Then what?

It's a fathomable possibility...

Know anyone in the USA who has given birth recently? Ask them how many vaccines their infant was subjected to before they could leave the hospital. I'm told that the shots are now in the dozens. When I was born (back in the stone age) there were 2 or 3 shots given.
Meanwhile we hear about relatives and neighborhood children with recurring illnesses, ear infections to the point where shunts are put in place, etcetera. In this day of modern medicine, readily available good water and food, infants and babies should be healthier than ever.

Sounds like dissent within the mass media is on the rise with conflicting headlines.
Once all the journalists and other media professionals wake up to the reasons for dropping and spinning so many important stories it will be an important breakthrough for the truth.

Wondering how many people know that many vaccines, including rubella, were made from aborted human fetuses...

In fact, some vaccines are grown in cell cultures that were originally obtained from two human fetuses. In addition, the rubella virus used to make rubella vaccine was isolated from a third human fetus
