Of course we went there, but I'm willing to bet it will be a long time before we go back.. New obstacles I hear may hinder future flights...CME's and all.



Alpha Particles Stopped By Paper

Beta Particles and UV Stopped By Aluminum/Gold Foil

Solar wind isn't THAT hard to shield against.

Water in flight and regolith on the surface is excellent shielding...

Yeah those things we can handle but it's the crazy dust we need to sheild against.

I have to say i'm kinda clean freak and love a clean house and enviroment free from dust ( all the droppings from microbs ) it is my biggest fustration, i literally hate it!!


I say bring on Nano, self cleaning surface material!!

Also i do realise the dust on the Lunar surface is different to dust here on Earth, but the fine particles are very similar...

Also i wouldnt say im a compulsive clean freak but close to it haha
