The Scientology Expose We've Been Waiting For

Haggis spent 35 years as a Scientologist before angrily and publicly ditching the cult in 2009 after he became convinced that leader David Miscavige is a violent nut. He hasn't spoken publicly about Scientology since, but a "blown" celebrity (to use the Scientological term for leaving the fold) like Haggis is Scientology's worst possible nightmare

Wow!

Ok so here it comes... from the way it sounds... it really should be good...

Wright is a meticulous and muscular reporter, so the two men collaborating to tell the story of Scientology from the inside will be a very big deal. The book, which doesn't have a publisher yet, will be called The Heretic of Hollywood: Paul Haggis vs.The Church of Scientology

I wonder what will happen to him?

I thought I read somewhere that
he had "cooled" off the "faith"....

I will google...
EDIT TO ADD:

Travolta distraught over son Jett's death Bitter at Church of Scientology's teachings
But reportedly wary of leaving the church:

UPDATE (JULY 29, 2009): John Travolta's publicist has told People magazine that reports of the actor being disenchanted with Scientology were "totally false".

"There's no change in the relationship between the Church of Scientology and John (Travolta)," publicist Paul Bloch said. "He is a member and it's as it was, now and forever."

JOHN Travolta is a virtual recluse considering leaving the Church of Scientology six months after the sudden death of his son, according to a report quoting insiders in the church and friends of the actor.

The report, in Britain's Mail on Sunday, claims Travolta is so distraught over the death of Jett, 16, in the Bahamas during a New Year family holiday, that he is barely able to function and seldom seen in public.

It says Travolta is disillusioned with the secretive church and bitterly regrets adhering to its teachings when treating his son's condition, which is believed to have been autism.

But the report claims the 55-year-old actor may not follow through on private threats to quit the church because of fears it could retaliate by revealing embarrassing details about his private life.

Apparently they reported he was "going to leave the "church", but his publicist refuted it.

Well what do you know?

I remember a somewhat recent conversation in a RATS thread on this topic.

I assure you this is only the beginning.

A victim more than a member.

Every time he attempts to separate himself from the church "homosexual" allegations show up all over the gossip rags.

Scientologists use tactics on wealthy and famous members that even the CIA would be envious of.

Through days, sometimes weeks of these tactics used on these "victims" they obtain confessions and "dark secrets" which are ultimately used to extort money, alliance and obedience to the church, and if they try to leave, they always can be forced back in.

Example: homosexual allegations involving Mr. Travolta?

Mysterious deaths of affiliated celebrities, or their family members?

You really would be shocked if you knew how deep this rabbit hole goes.

The Church of "Scientology" is a legal bribery and extortion racket that has gotten too big and powerful and holds too much leverage over too many people including the famous, powerful and wealthy.

It is a crime syndicate that claims to be a church, and they hunt down and lure in new victims daily.
