...Do NOT let the media shills distract you from the crux of what is happening here people-This is disgusting and evil beyond words, and we need to keep the exposure on these people, around the clock. That is why they are trying so hard to shut this down....

My spouse made a very profound observation:

NO ONE wins a war unless they actually conquer and occupy the land and take over the resources. War is very expensive and unless it is about conquest it is a lose-lose proposition everytime.

Think about it. The USA has lost major amounts of wealth each time we have gone to war. The losses from WWI caused FDR to confiscate all the gold owned by private citizens to pay the debts to the banks After Vietnam, the debts were so large Nixon had to take us off the gold standard.

And now? Congress is looking at confiscating All of the wealth in IRAs and 401Ks SEE: US Departments of Labor and Treasury Schedule Hearing on Confiscation of Private Retirement Accounts

So WHY the heck do we go to war at the drop of a hat???

Because it makes the Worlds Central bankers rich! That is why.
Who the heck do you think set up the blasted cold war in the first place?

Who the heck do you think OWNS the Media? JP Morgan: Our next big media player? - JP Morgan controls 54 U.S. daily newspapers, and owns 31 television stations.

...In the Bolshevik Revolution we have some of the world's richest and most powerful men financing a movement which claims its very existence is based on the concept of stripping of their wealth men like the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Schiffs, Warburgs, Morgans, Harrimans, and Milners. But obviously these men have no fear of international Communism. It is only logical to assume that if they financed it and do not fear it, it must be because they control it. Can there be any other explanation that makes sense?

Remember that for over 150 years it has been standard operating procedure of the Rothschilds and their allies to control both sides of every conflict. You must have an "enemy" if you are going to collect from the King. The East-West balance-of-power politics is used as one of the main excuses for the socialization of America. Although it was not their main purpose, by nationalization of Russia the Insiders bought themselves an enormous piece of real estate, complete with mineral rights, for somewhere between $30 and $40 million.

We can only theorize on the manner in which Moscow is controlled from New York, London and Paris. Undoubtedly much of the control is economic, but certainly the international bankers have an enforcer arm within Russia to keep the Soviet leaders in line....

We do know this, however. A clique of American financiers not only helped establish Communism in Russia, but has striven mightily ever since to keep it alive. Ever since 1918 this clique has been engaged in transferring money and, probably more important, technical information, to the Soviet Union. This is made abundantly clear in the three volume history "Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development" by scholar Antony Sutton of Stanford University's Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace. Using, for the most part, official State Department documents, Sutton shows conclusively that virtually everything the Soviets possess has been acquired from the West. It is not much of an exaggeration to say that the U.S.S.R. was made in the U.S.A....

Liberals are willing to believe that these "robber barons" will fix prices, rig markets, establish monopolies, buy politicians, exploit employees and fire them the day before they are eligible for pensions, but they absolutely will not believe that these same men would want to rule the world or would use Communism as the striking edge of their conspiracy.

According to his grandson John, Jacob Schiff long time associate of the Rothschilds, financed the Communist Revolution in Russia to the tune of $20 million. According to a report on file with the State Department, his firm, Kuhn Loeb and Co. bankrolled the first five year plan for Stalin, Schiff's partner and relative, Paul Warburg, engineered the establishment of the Federal Reserve System while on the Kuhn Loeb payroll. Schiff's descendants are active in the Council on Foreign Relations today... www.modernhistoryproject.org...

Well, I'm glad to see this short video posted - it has changed my view regarding dubya. Whereas I once considered him to be a complete dud, I now consider him to be an incomplete dud.

Regarding the transmission of information, what seems to happen as often as not is a fixation on the 'means'. For example, if there were a finger pointing toward the moon, there would be a lot to say about the finger and not so much about the moon.

Perhaps I am in error, but it seems to me that humans are exceedingly strange creatures. There seems to be a tendency to overlook the probability that we will one day receive a recall notice, or a wakeup call that wakes us up into a different reality. The current state of affairs reminds me of a pot of water being boiled transforming the liquid into a gas. (Crude, meaningless analogies are my specialty).

On a little more useful note, the notion that time is the next higher order of space has, for me, some useful explanatory value if it is recalled that an observor native to the next level would more than likely have a better set of receptors tuned to a different channel. In other words, a 3D visitor to the 4D world, if he could make the transition, would not observe the same things in the same way that a native to the 4D world would.

It would be interesting to know if the acquisition of a 4D (actually, a 4/5 D) perspective would involve the loss of the former 1D dimension.

I wonder why I wonder about such things? I used to worry there would be no afterlife. Now I worry that there might be. Would the people in the world be any different if they knew for sure? I mean know in the sense of the experience vs the talk about the experience. There is a difference, you know. Really, there really is, a really big difference. Would it make a difference if everyone really knew? Anybody know for sure? What was the question?

No, the most terrifying revelation is how much it all doesn't matter. You can keep hoping that with each subsequent revelation that outrage and momentum will develop, but the most you'll witness are ripples which die off into the abyss of willful ignorance. It's a warm somnolence that is more attractive than the glare of truth which is perceived as overwhelming.

I lived through Watergate and figured that from that point onward government would no longer operate in the shadows. That quickly proved to be incorrect. By the time Iran-Contra was brought to light, I once again had hope that the people would be outraged, but it was allowed to just fade away without the truly hard, lasting questions being asked. I can think of a half-dozen other intensely disturbing events which most are unaware of now, or don't recall the details of.

My only answer is we are in a generation which equates government with some level of corruption. A generation which has never known hard-times and need. A generation which could care less, as long as its selfish needs are met and its means to distract aren't inhibited. In short, we are a conquered people.

Fundamentals -

A single-source story is just a rumour.
Wikileaks is single source of information.

But even Reuters publish this stuff.

What I find to be far more surprising than the evidence of government lies, is the blossoming growth of duplicity within the mind of the general public. In the Western world, 2+2 can really equal 5.

Wikileaks' evidence has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt what most of us have already cast our jury vote for. Thing is, we already knew the governments were lying, torturing, murdering and plundering. We've already learned that.

The concept, as hard as floating metal in seas of your mind, is yet to manifest. We have no greater understanding today, as we had yesterday. Certainly, we have compiled heaps and encyclopedias of evidence... but what is it we're building a case to do?

This is the amazing part. Despite peering through the little cabin window at 30,000 feet and seeing the wind swept fire in engine #1 & 2, the common passenger leans back and re-fluffs his pillow. amazing!

What advice would you give to the poor enslaved and tortured people of Afguabistanto? A country where dissidence is ground into bone meal, where armed highwaymen are hired by the government to prey upon innocent travelers. Where children are forced into indoctrination centers, and the boys most infected by the brainwashing are stolen away to some distant place to rape, kill and torture... what advice would you have for them?

Would you be shocked to see their sullen eyes as they shrug and say, "it ain't a perfect place, but it's still the best place."

Would you continue to try to tell them their government is evil? Would you dispatch missionaries to save the few you could? Would you open an Appleseed Project for their benefit?

My shock and awe is not the lies, torture, criminal and murderous conduct of the Western powers... my shock is that the fat, lazy and apathetic will simply bend over and allow it all to happen while reserving some future excuse that, "hey, I didn't know that was going on." (reminiscent of post WW2 Deutchland, no?)

Look into the light, and fear not... those with the lying, murdering and criminal governments are lucky...

Yes it's true our government(s) lies - some more than others but in my opinion it is a direct reflection on the society it represents. Think about it: If most people in our day to day lives will not accept resposibility for their actions and their observations are riddled with misconceptions based on their own intent and preconceived notions (without actually taking the time to do the work and understand a situation or task) - how can we expect anything different from our leaders? Our government only gets away with what we accept in our ourselves. I mean everyone I spoke to when it comes to the latest sex scandals seem to be specialists with those issues...a debate on nuclear power to curb greenhouse gas producing power plants? Not so much. Taxation debate? Nope.

Similarly, like rearing children - leaders try to get away with what they can, test you and you make the choice to accept and justify the behavior or correct it the best way you can. We have tolerated and enabled so much of this dysfunction in the past - we are left with ever-increasing "spoiled" behavior from our leaders. Patriot Act? Come on, if we as a people took an interest it would never have passed but instead we nod and elect a impotent leader; not once but twice. I don't think Bush was a complete idiot but I do think he was lead around by others around him a little too much so it was more maliable than stupid. The current admistration I think is showing the same tendencies. Remember power is granted - this can happen with a small group or a large group. Over time, we have allowed a small group to grant power over a much larger group and devolved our democracy into a cult of personality with a dash of oligarchy.

However, our government's disfunctional behavior is now systemic and IMHO I believe our "democracy" is now a distant reality. I truely think politicians (for the most) part have contempt for the people they represent. I mean wouldn't you if you couldn't have an semi-educated debate on most topics with the people you represent (see top paragraph). They treat us as if we have "capacity issues" and make our decisions for us - whether we like it or not. We need to see the big picture and hold them accountable to that "big-picture" standard.

Again, this is not all leaders but most and seems that the 'good ones" leave in frustration due to the systemic nature of our failure in leadership/politics.

I read Wikileaks and speak to people who have no clue what these things mean (like, can't you see what is driving US foreign policy?) but can speak on Assange's sex drive and activity according to MSM sources.

Not that I am a big fan of Winston Churchill but here is an apt quote that reflects the contempt I mention and view that it is likely it is our own behavior that allows our democracy to lie in shambles:
"The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter"

Think quietly yourselves now. Think for a minute if a Magnetic Pole Reversal has been going on. If so it could explain alot of things. Crazy Behaviour. Birds and Fish Dying everywhere.Reminds me of a movie called Core. I think they were demonstrating some real biological sciences there with a Magnetic Pole Reversal. Nothing to Fear. It will be done by 2012 Dec 21st. This is a Natural Planetary Star System Alignment.

It has to do with the Solar System and the Universal Midway Photon Beam also coming from the Center of the Galaxy. This is all one system. Don't just blame Everyone in The USA Government for this Problem. It could be your worst nightmare, Nature taking control.

Just a thought, something definitely to consider.

When the public leaders have banded together to engage in atrocities instead of responsibilities it can be very difficult for the people to respond. The security services, media, judiciary and other social infrastructure fall under the power of these networks of misguided individuals. As the system of civilised laws break down, the more primitive laws return. I would like to see the United Nations take a more proactive role in dismantling these corrupt networks as any sense of justice can only come from a higher and independent authority. Otherwise it is left to the community to struggle and fight it out.

I've never believed a word they have said about anything from the beginning. Please tell me that most other Americans doubt their word as well. If not, after all they have done to us and all the lies that we have cought them in,....then truly the rest of the world would be right about Americans being stupid. Indeed we do have a nation full of idiots if any of us believe the word of our government after everyting that has been revealed to us in the past (even) 10 years. Hope only goes so far, ....."We have a sayng in Texas, it's probably a saying here too, fool me once
..........shame on me, fool me.....
......fool me....we ain't gonna get fooled no more!" - Wise words from our esteemed President Bush.

I know the Wikileaks documents have been focusing primarily on US war secrets, but I read recently that Wikileaks has partners all over the world that will soon be posting documents from many more Governments. I am anxious to see what types of military secrets are being held by all these other countries.

I am sure just about every country has military secrets!

I agree that the governments around the world lie to the masses. There are differenet lies for different reasons, most self serving BUT If the government (ours or another) really are hip to the fact that we're in for some type of major unavoidable cataclism, I can't say as I fault them for not making it public. Frightened panicked people will cause an incredble amount of mayhem. It will make the LA riots look like a peace sit in. Is that really how you want to spend your last 6 months or so, watching looting, murder, rapes, and destruction on a scale never before witnessed? There are no amount of national guard troops or police officers that will be able to restore order. Is it worth it, let the truth out, and watch a world full of people spend their last days on Earth completely terrified? If there is a calamity on a global scale that is unavoidable, without remedy, let people live out their last days, marrying, dancing, laughing, making love, working, and LIVING.

hmm, govt. lies and public apathy, shock and outrage. To me, the question is whether this internet exposure is any different than the pentagon papers, in other words do we really have access to better info or is this just another control mechanism of Big Brother? We are watched, it's called 'data mining'. We are inhibited from banding together, the leaders of most progressive organizations are probably agents of some kind. We aren't paranoid, the govt really is scary.

While partially being right you have to read between the lines as to what this article, and it's authors are saying.

Now read this part...

Do you believe that it is in Americans' interest to allow a small group of U.S. leaders to unilaterally murder, maim, imprison and/or torture anyone they choose anywhere in the world, without the knowledge let alone oversight of their citizens or ]the international community? And, despite their proven record of failure to protect America -- from Indochina to Iran to Iraq -- do you believe they should be permitted to clandestinely expand their war-making without informed public debate? If so, you are betraying the principles upon which America was founded, endangering your nation, and displaying a distinctly "unamerican" subservience to unaccountable authority. But if you oppose autocratic power, you are called to support Wikileaks and others trying to limit U.S. Executive Branch mass murder abroad and failure to protect Americans at home.

www.alternet.org...

I am highlighting that part simply because it clearly conveys part of the reason the authors posted this.

The international community SHOULD NOT be able to oversight, or know everything the U.S. does.

Do you people actually believe that every government is completely open to it's people?... that they don't have secrets?...

I am not saying that AMERICANS should just do what the government says, or believe it all, but neither do I agree with the author of that article in their claim that the "international community should be able to know, and oversight what the U.S. does"...

This to me is merely another campaign to indoctrinate people into believing that every country, including the U.S. should be part of a One World Government, where a group of people will have knowledge, oversight and CONTROL over all the nations in the world.

There are some things that should really be a secret, but only things that REALLY have to do with national security, and not the excuses the government, and in fact all governments are doing the same, which end goal is to restrict freedoms and have more control, which in itself the changes the Obama administration is doing is towards making the U.S. part of this One World Government so many other U.S. presidents have also talked about.

You think the people who wrote that article have in mind a different goal from that of the rich elites?... No, they all are proposing a One World Government.

The insurance file is still being shared via torrent/magnet links. It's a backup in terms of safety for Assange from what I've heard. Makes sense to keep some cards up your sleeve when being hounded.

On the topic of leaks besides US and the wars, there's PLENTIFUL. Just because it's what the media has been focusing on doesn't mean they have no other leaks. People on ATS should really realise the media rarely gives a fair look on things.

Here's their entire archive of leaks;
wikileaks.rsf.org...

It's up on their mirror site wikileaks.rsf.org... being hosted by Reporters sans Frontières.
