Of course it wont happen. This is just a "rummor". Its all a plot of crazy conspirators. And if you see tanks rolling on the 5th avenue, know, it's all just in your head. Because as you said, it is "impossible"

now, generally I try to keep a calm, collective head in the face of mass panic and hysteria. But honestly folks, this is ridiculous. I cant believe the kind of crap that is gonna happen because of all of this. For the first time in my life I am truely, deeply worried about all of this, may God have mercy on us all.

What's the waiting period for a purchase of a rifle or a shotgun? I would buy me a handgun, but I'm not old enough yet. Why do you gotta be 21 to purchase a handgun anyway...... Well I guess a rifle will do me just fine.

And no, before anyone get's started, I'm not comparing the US government to the Chineese comunist party. Allthough I'm sure both would be equaly prepared to run over innocent civilians in tanks if they thought it was the only way to preserve their status quo.

and do you think those right's will be 'temporaily' given back? absolutely not. Rights taken, are not easily given back.

I'm not defending loss of civil liberties but it does seem like everyone is in a no win situation here. If there was a massive terrorist attack, then people would be complaining the security forces hadn't done enough to stop it through checkpoints etc.

We're getting similar advice in the UK from the home office about staying inside, although in a less panic inducing manner.
