For some reason I just loved this interview with both the Pauls on CNN the other day.

Ron talks specifically about the fact the US is effectively bankrupt and that the need to eliminate the massive waste of our military escapades has never been greater.

Ron also hammers the GOP and basically calls them a bunch of socialists.

Reason TV agrees:

We need radical changes immediately. I believe they have the right ideas to bring this change about in the best possible way. Strike at the root! Choke the beast. Cut off its flow and starve it into submission. Money is at the root of all our problems and the Federal Reserve system is its heart. Time to drive a stake in it and kill it forever!

No compromise. People need to come to grips with the seriousness of our situation. If we don't act decisively right now, and stop the wars, corruption, and looting, there won't be an America anymore. I refuse to fund my own enslavement and the wholesale slaughter of people that have done me no harm.

It makes me happy to see others that share my same views.

The gun in the room must be addressed.

Notice how the camera shows their legs in the begining.

I don't think I have ever seen that on the MSM cable news before.

They do eventually zoom in on Rands upper body but only after 30 secs or so of awkward full body shots.

thanks for posting

I wish the naive socialist would realize the Bankers LOVE socialism. It is Capitalism they absolutely HATE. That is why the banker owned media always points fingers at our current system, neo-corporatism, and misrepresents it as capitalism.

I hope the GOP will start putting on the breaks but I seriously doubt it, especially after the Food safety Fiasco bill got a 100% FOR vote.

If you think the country is in a bad condition now wait until 2012 when the new 1099 tax regs and the food safety regs hit.

Between those two and the doubled money supply you are going to see prices sky rocket especially FOOD... if there is any food left on the shelves.

thanks for the thread. I would love to see our elected officials stop the corruption. and a word for note, If they the corrupted officials cant be stopped, we americans can stop them, its called work sit-out. 1 to 2 days a week will stop or at least slow them down. I believe regardless of this outcome we americans will struggle through and prevail their dasturdly deeds. We dont need wall street to get richer for us americans to continue living.( americans still work and pay We dont ning bills even if wall street collapses out from under the elitles) we can stop giving them our taxes to pay for bank and auto and every other reason the corrupted leaders so choose to spend our taxes. We can stop them "when" us americans unite.
Dont be afraid they cant hurt is as a unified people

Wal Mart and Chinese products are not the problem.

The problem is the government taxes and regulations that make American producers uncompetitive.

It is a WASTE of resources to spend more money than necessary on a product simply because it was made in America.

Do not waste your resources.

Save those resources and instead put the money you save buying Chinese products into silver/gold/food/commodities or donate it to worthy political causes that will work to dismantle the State and make American producers competitive once again.

Oh Paul,

If only they stopped making you look like a complete fool in the coverage you just might have won a Presidential race.

Is he running next year?

It's unfortunate because Ron is exactly the kind of person who should be in charge at this point. Why don't people realize that the military is over stretched and needs to be reigned in?

I don't. I buy at second hand shops, flea markets and farmers markets or direct from the local farmers.

I am very well aware that it is the Central Bankers who are the root cause of the impoverishment of Americans.

That is why I wrote the thread Bloodsucking Bankers

However since over 50% of the employment in the USA is thanks to small businesses I do my best to support them instead of the international cartels.

Second Video:
This is something I've been hammering on for a while. Now, the situation is different today than in 1994. We have serious challenges to our global reserve status, we have committed our nation to currency and trade wars, we have committed the country to two wars that aren't worth the blood and money, and we have dug in enough debt to make the interest payment impossible without robbing the people...

I don't think people in Congress, nor the people in general, are truly aware of the fiscal nightmare we are mired in today. It really is the worst case scenario we're facing...I TRULY HOPE that 112th Congress can pull their collective heads from their collective asses and understand the situation...I truly hope that both democrats and republicans realize the FRACKED MESS they got us into.

But we call them ruling class for a reason folks...

"It's not that the emperor has no clothes, it's that the emperor has no money."

Indeed.

I like to be positive and think they will stop the insanity.

Alas, I am also a realist, which is why I'm starting to buy up silver and gold like crazy, as I expect them to destroy the currency shortly.

Same here.

These people are soooo dumb they can't see 5 minutes down the road. Let me assure everyone that if we make it through 2011 without the market shoving the correction down our throats, we'll be lucky...But, we will not make it through 2012.

My guess is, the S is going to HTF in very short order...By the end of Q1-2011 we're going to see the destruction of America pick up the pace.

One thing is for sure - it's going to hurt. The point that needs to be driven home, is that it is coming, regardless of what we do now. The focus needs to be on mitigating the suffering that will come. Will we have a few lean years and gain our strength back quickly, or will we descend into utter chaos and uncertainty? Actions now will determine the shape of things to come.
They want to push the debt ceiling up again to over 14T. In two years time it will be 17T , then 20, and on up forever, or until the inevitable occurs. The question is, is it better to suffer the correction now, or in the future, when the magnitude of suffering will be even bigger and possibly unrecoverable?

This is the reality with which people must come to grips; and quickly.

I have been mulling over an idea. Let us say instead of the government not going bankrupt, we divide the debt equally amongst everyone in the country. This is only the outstanding debt. Everyone that is able to pay their debt off, pays it. Everyone else files bankruptcy.

We eliminate the entire future liabilities also in this move stating that all debts except for say the military are null and void.

Oh, and for those saying I have broken contract or bankruptcy law...........think GM and get back to me.

Yes, it would cause initial shock to the system, but you would see that all the existing outlays for interest are now null and void.

Just a differing premise on discharging a debt by bankruptcy. It is going to hurt, but what isn't going to hurt?

Hah!

Too bad there's no National Novocain program....

But alas, Americas have been spoiled by the struggles of our grandparents, the Great Depression...

Both my mother and father lived through that. Some interesting stories from my father. My mother never really talks about it.

As for the Novocain, it seems we need some now. Last I heard 1 in 7 is in poverty. My estimate of unemployed is about 22.5 million.

If we continue, within ten years or so, we will be paying all the income of the government to the banks. Then what?

It's comin' And when that finally does happen everyone will forget that they're a liberal or a conservative.

Might actually be a good thing.
