Agreed, doom and gloom is overrated, every single day there will always be someone saying that the sky will be falling down today, and if not today then tomorrow, and then the day after and the next and the next and the next.

Certain things will never change even after 2012, including the foolishness of most people. The whole point of living on this planet is to make use of our time here before we die. We should not be obsessing over when we are going to die and when everyone else is going to die because of a subconscious morbid desire.

As far as 2012, even the mayan elders state that it doens't mean the end of the world, in fact the prophecy merely holds that a shift will occur and the wise men will return. In my opinion this is what is really going to happen, the stupidity of the human race is going to be checked by a critical mass of people being born who are wise, and that is what will initiate change. From my research of psychics and channelers, this is what there is unanimous agreement on.

I don't know that anyone is saying exact dates on here (in ref to Matthew 24:36, "the day/hour")? Estimated, yes (theories, ideas from what is going on in the world).

I find Biblical quotes very irritating, prosaic, abstract, convenient, useless and intimating..... so to keep the Sheeple in check. After all, they do refer to us as their flock!

It is unfortunately the way it goes with those that claim they can see the future,.
And I say unfortunately because an accurate forecaster could really be handy.
And yes, it does seem to be a thread with an agenda
I know the closer we get to 2012 the more predictors will come outta the woodwork.
Also the bible verses will be zinging around here like a meteor shower.
In the movie "The Mist" one guy finnaly has enough of a mad womans preachings of the end,
that he puts a bullet in her head. sounds brutal, but comical and seemingly justified for the circumstance of the movie.
She was causing unnecessary panic.

I have followed prophecy (bible) for some time. What I see often is that someone will have a vision of what is impending.. there is a difference between someone that calls themself a prophet, & there ARE false prophets, so one is to, "test the spirits," this is written.

I notice that there are things a person will say that align with what happens, maybe not exact but overall, they are given visions, then another (others) also given to visions/dreams, will see more clearly through this sharing(we are one in CHRIST). I feel aoi/OP came here to share information, & what he feels he was shown.

I don't feel it's my job (or desire) to protect or defend him, as he is perfectly capable of doing this ...
Most people have a compass that points in a direction with beliefs, their own set of ideals, etc..

As long as I have followed prophecy, I take from it what is meaningful to me, leave the rest.
God Is My Leader, we are HIS people...

I guess if you think it's about being sheeple that's your choice, but most certainly not my view. I realize & acknowledge Who The Creator Is.

GOD Is About To Make Some Changes..
