Wow this is fascinating! I cant wait to hear more about this

The cave in the Annamite Mountains contains a river and jungle (its name translates to "mountain river cave") and even its own thin clouds, and its end remains out of sight. It's part of a network of about 150 caves in central Vietnam near the Laotian border.

I wonder if they will find any new animal species there? I bet it would make a great fallout shelter

This is quoted from national geographic.

The passage is perhaps 300 feet wide, the ceiling nearly 800 feet tall: room enough for an entire New York City block of 40-story buildings. There are actually wispy clouds up near the ceiling.

I have always loved to get off of this planet and find another earth or place to live. Apparently all I have to do is travel to Vietnam. I love it!

Spectacular. Very exciting find, and at the very least a nudge in the direction of 'hollow earth' theory (not that the entire earth is hollow and star trek exists within it, but at LEAST there is eco-systems within; this demonstrates the possibilities and our ignorance of our own attics/crawlspaces.

Taking a look via Google Earth at the surrounding areas etc.

One thing worth mentioning ... it is not at all far from the largest religious site ever constructed and has a relatively strange history concerning its construction (magic water poured over to create by gifted ancestor from the stars etc)

Angkor Wat

Thank you for sharing!

What I also find amazing is that there are still places being found for the first time....here on Earth! Who would of thunk?!
