If WL Releases are "Old News", Why are the Evil-Doers Protesting so Much?

Others have written of the horrors going on at the diamond mines before and much of what is being released from WL has been known in the public for some time. So why has it been kind of ignored in the past but now these people are suddenly kicking and screaming and yelling "lawsuit" and "treason" and calling for blood?

Are there certain details in these transmissions that have not been brought to the light of day before? Specifics of the dark deeds that give confirmation where before there was only speculation?

What is making the difference now?

Grace Mugabe has launched a defamation suit against Zimbabwe's Standard newspaper for $15m (£9.5m) for publishing details released by WikiLeaks suggesting that she had gained "tremendous profits" from the trade in illicit diamonds.

The offending article quotes from a US embassy cable that alleged she was among a group of elite Zimbabweans making "several hundred thousand dollars a month" from the sale of illegal stones mined in the politically sensitive Marange district. Grace Mugabe denies the allegations.

Zimbabwe's attorney general has formed a commission to investigate the WikiLeaks cables with a view to bring charges of treason against anyone found to be colluding with "aggressive" foreign governments. This has been seen as a thinly veiled attempt to target the country's prime minister, Morgan Tsvangirai.

Because they're affraid.
Polls around the world already show that we think our politicians are corrupted at 60-80%.
Wikileaks will boost these numbers higher.

The real question is which is the threshold that will bring change : 90%, 100% ?

Interesting perspective. How do they expect this change to "begin"? Will these politicians go hide in their underground caverns?

It has already begun.
Democracy as you think you know it is in its last stages. And the first casualty (for the better imo) is the bi-polar paradigm. Let me explain.

In polls, surveys, people will say stuff like "we're tired of their bickering, not one party is really better than the other, they'd better stop fighting and work together to get us out of this mess."

Politicians love it when people feel so desperate that they turn to them for salvation. So they need a big mess to start with, something we are never short of, by the way.

And that's exactly what you're seeing around you, coalition governments poping up everywhere (germany...). And when the people isn't ready yet, they'll prop personae from the opposition party and give them some media-friendly duties (sec Gates...)

The cost (for us) and the benefit (them) is that you don't need to listen that much anymore to the voice of opposition since they are the gov too.

And there you are, you got millions of people in the streets protesting everywhere, but they don't listen, they feel they don't have to anymore. Why ?

Great point!

all the "defamed" people do a good job of "defaming" all by themselves!

I think 60-80% should be tilt. It cannot be 90% and it cannot be a unanimous 100. There will be a dividing line among the people. Some like the system just as it is.

I just had a strange dream. There was a tall figure walking and his shadow fell on everyone. As the shadow began to fall people quickly stepped far to the left or far to the right to open a pathway down the middle for this shadowy figure. (The left-right had nothing to to with politics, but had everything to do with allegiances.) Also those who stepped to one side were fighting amongst themselves while those who stepped to the other side just stood still and were calm and peaceful.

Perhaps we are entering that time of decision. What do we choose---a new way or the same old corrupt ways where there is never true justice? Decision. The valley of Megiddo gained notoriety as being the place where the most "decisive" battles were fought. Battles that changed the course of history. Perhaps that is why "Armageddon" is said to derive from that word. This will be a spiritual battle, not one of bullets. It will be a battle of morals and integrity and priorities.

Perhaps the stepping aside I saw in my dream foreshadows the divisions that are about to take place. Sides will soon become crystal clear.
