Edwards' Domestic Spy Agency idea worries FBI/civil libertarians

Even when I supported him for a brief period, I was always worried about his plan to create a domestic spy agency along the lines of Britain's MI5. My worry is that liberals -- who have been advocating a defensive, home-focused approached to the WoT -- will hoist this up as the magic bullet that will solve all of our problems... and that a gullible public will go for it.

This may happen anyway, regardless of who is elected.

As so many have said," take your choice of criminal #1 or criminal #2".
I have top say, I thought the Democrats were against those sort of things.
