Isreal discovers second gas field larger than the first!

West of isreal inder the mediterrainian sea, lies a large gas field recently announced by isreal....
However there is another even larger(the biggest in the world at 16 trillion feet of gas....)this second find makes the first look tiny!
This recent developement is a major chaange factor in the politics of the mid east oil hierarchy....
What will eveolve over the next while may act to stabilise or even destabilise the whole mid east situation...What do the rest of ye think this bodes?Well?Or maybe not so well?and for whom?

Ah but remember those gas pipes through all the dodgy countries in ex-soviet and **istan places and how the politics can shut the gas supply to Europe, well now we can bypass russia and buy it from Israel, so Israel becomes Europes best friend, all of sudden Iran is now a threat to the wests largest source of gas, could be a game changer.

Not to alieans and ufo's though unless they need gas, then it might be a problem, especially if they need it that bad....

It is theirs! Why do you even mention the concept of theft in the same conversation? Sounds like someone has the discrimination bug! Maybe the next time when you withdraw your "hard earned" from the ATM the theft word should be applied to you! Not very nice making a false assumption is it?

Israel should be applauded & congratulated for their discovery! If it destabilises the area any way it is the fault of Israel's terrorist enemies out of jealousy & will be dealt with accordingly! But some how I don't think anyone will have the guts to challenge it!

Thats what one gets for heavy surfing, a little confused.
Anyways this is definately a momentous developement.
It will make isreal independant for much of its fuel supplies.
The fact that it is natural gas,not gasoline shouldnt make too much difference.
Maybe even better this way.Less pollution in processing and burning the stuff.
Also there will probably be an oil component to this dicovery as welll.
It is rare indeed when natural gas comes totally without an oil component.
I imagine that there must be heavier deposits somewhere in the neighbourhoood.

Maps would be nice, as this could also involve egypt or maybe lebanon.The whole picture isnt yet laid out.
