simply the Russians got the tech from someone out there, the way the Americans got their tech from someone else. Otherwise we would still use the Bell
telephones of pre-WW2 and ride the old Fords. The question is not IF but Who is who. As we understand, that may change the equation of how many nukes
one has, or how many more conventional planes. I don't think we should fear Russia, because it might happen Russia to be the only force capable and
willing to defend some portions of the Earth for some time.
