Just came across this doozy of a vid, of Russian citizens on the war path towards what looks like their version of the TSA goon squad...

Are they showing us the way it's done folks? How to protest and say 'NO MORE'?

Or could Americans even get away with this type of activity, without being arrested?

I'm SURE that destroying the x-ray pans, as they are doing in this vid, would likely get us a one way ticket to the local jail. But I wonder if the rest of their noisy disruption would be an effective way to go head to head with this type of tyranny we have been having waged against us?

I won't say whether I agree or disagree entirely with below commentary, but they do bring up some points worth consideration imho...

When the people are afraid of the police and government that is slavery and police state, but when the police and government are afraid of the people that is FREEDOM! In this video filmed in Sheremetievo international airport in Moscow, Russia the people are so angry with the airlines and airport security that they chant, whistle, and scream while pounding the plastic ex-ray tubs against the tables. The police stand around helpless and afraid to act or make a move against the people lest the people become violent. Take note of this poor beaten down American sheep, this is what freedom looks like. The American people think they are free and some actually like having their DNA shredded by body scanners and it doesn't bother American men to watch their wives and children being molested by airport police. Wake up American Sheeple! You are not free! Your corrupt government of thieves and liars is helping the banks to loot your country into collapse while turning it into a giant corporate plantation.

the russian police actually care about their people, since everyone of them could be an uncle, a brother or a sister.

if this happened in america, 100 man riot squad would storm the airport, tase everbody and drag everone to jail.

Randomname, I am assuming based on your avatar, you live in Russia?

If so, do you know anything about this event here?

I thought this was a pretty awesome display of peaceful non-compliance.

Americans are WAY TO PASSIVE to fight for there rights anymore ..... to afraid of being inconvenienced or GOD FORBID ARRESTED .......

Just watch em go through the airport ..... ARZ's tight in fear of being asked for a pat down but hell bent to say NOTHING if someone else is .....

I am 100% convinced the American public is just scared to death to say or do anything ....... just look at whats happening ..... its crazy.

Mess in Aeroflot led to spontaneous protests of people who are tired of devil-may-care attitude to them by the airlines.

the above is a translation of the video tag.
below is partial translation from news site posted.
Hope this helps

According to witnesses who are currently in the Sheremetyevo airport, the official information that the airport is operating normally, do not correspond to reality.

According to one of the passengers waiting for flights to Stockholm, their flight had already transferred more than 5 times, and the total waiting time currently stands at more than 24 hours. Also, many flights, which has been declared fit, be detained for an indefinite period, and passengers are forced to remain for several hours in the aircraft cabin

here is the remaining translation:

Another passenger, waiting for a flight to Egypt, said that he was at the airport from 18.00 on Sunday and still has no precise information on how many delayed their flight - airport did not give correct information about flight delays and flight departure time is constantly postponed. More or less urgent update on the scoreboard and on sites only began after a group of disgruntled passengers said the airport management that causes the television news crews.

Seats in the waiting rooms is not enough - at night people slept on the luggage belts, in their suitcases, and even non-working front desk. Food bars also are not enough. Lunch boxes are no longer giving away the night before. Special problems experienced travelers with young children, so how to find baby food at Sheremetyevo at the moment there is no way.

Because of dissatisfaction of passengers and mass protests in the airport at night had to call in riot police.

Air France flight to Paris had already arrested more than 8 hours - all this time people are in an airplane. RIA Novosti quoted a passenger voyage of Hope: "We are in the morning and is still on the plane, we are not allowed. The only thing done so far, it fed the passengers. First, we explained that we need time to process the aircraft anti-icing agents, then they ended, and then some tourists have changed their tickets, and we had to re-register the vacant seats, and then passed the information that the airport Charles de Gaulle (Paris) today does not take planes.

Information on the official scoreboard Airport and Aeroflot still does not match reality. For example, SU341 flight to Cairo, according to the board of Aeroflot, was due to fly in 10.45, while at 12.15 the passengers are still sitting on their suitcases in the lounge.

There are also problems with the baggage - for example, the passengers in Amsterdam, which still flew from the Sheremetyevo airport, on arrival at the destination discovered a massive loss of baggage.

We remind you that last weekend with the big challenges facing the capital's Domodedovo airport, which because of an accident in the substation is a power outage and, accordingly, has been canceled and delayed many flights. Because of the huge traffic jams and broken trains, passengers of canceled flights could not leave the airport for a long time. Many of the delayed flights to Domodedovo were transferred to the Airport, so that some passengers, is now awaiting the flight to Sheremetyevo, in fact, conduct is not the first sleepless night in the airport.

According to the latest updated information on the situation in 15.00 Sheremetyevo heating up. Now departure waiting seven thousand passengers, and some threaten employees if the situation does not soon improve, told RIA Novosti is one of the airport staff.

17.00 According to Interfax, a crowd of many thousands of passengers waiting for the departure at the airport "Domodedovo", broke through a fence, put up on the approaches to the zone of passport control, and accumulates at the racks, according to an Interfax correspondent, located at the airport. At Domodedovo airport is still not fully recovered elektosnabzhenie. Despite official statements, "Domodedovo" is still not working escalators, transkoprtnye belt for luggage. Rooms are in the twilight.

Excellent, thank you so much for the translation HappilyEverAfter!

So it looks like Russia has it's own set of airline nightmares, albeit in a different form than our own.

I notice they said riot police WERE called in at one point. I wonder what happened in relation to that?

Still, nice to see them have the freedom to stand up and protest, without being dragged out immediately under arrest, like we continually read about here in the states.

I do think that if enough people get together like this, it sends a very strong message.
