Okay I apologize I snapped. I had to deal with a troll in another thread and it really annoyed me.

So all I am asking for in this thread is for you to use those 15 words in a paragraph and have it make some sense. That's all.

And yes, I loved that video. I am actually listening to it right now on YouTube.

Progressive:
The notion of forward movement. Hence been convoluted to meet the ends to a means of political gain without real movement forward for the People, rather just for the political power that ensues.

Glenn Beck
While no doubt an educated man, Glenn Beck has enveloped himself in the mix of political theatrics and modern entertainment. His style is akin to the the TV evangelist.

Right-wing
This is the wing that resides upon the right side of a bird.

Liberal
An offshoot to the notion of Liberty, while never promoting Liberty itself.

Socialist
Someone who is engrossed upon the social aspects of politics.

Democrat
One of two major political parties that claim to represent the People.

Theocrat
Still thinking....

Fundamentalist
One who believes in the fundamental ideas of any given subject. Lately the term has been attributed broadly and negatively to those outside of the sphere of knowledge of the subject pertaining to those professing fundamentalism.

Barack Obama
While political him and I do not see eye to eye, I would never stoop so low to say he is 'not my president'.

Sarah Palin 2012
Still thinking...

Liberty
A concept that mankind on a whole fails to achieve. Individually we may all want Liberty, but have time and time again failed to maintain it as a whole.

Income Tax
A tax upon the outcome of my skills to maintain the basics of Government that I have consented to. For decades past, has been convoluted and plundered to serve the means of the State and not the People.

Welfare state
A state in which the People have realized that their productivity of their skills to provide meaningful work is outweighed by generous benefits payed in whole be the Government.

Republican
A political party that promotes anything but republic ideals.

Fascist
Economically production and capital are held privately but are subject to favoritism by typically a dictator that wishes to exert their authority upon the whole of a people politically.

I think I am a Progressive, which is nothing like Glenn Beck who is definitely right-wing. I wouldn't be so liberal as to say I am a Socialist, but certainly I could be considered in line with the general idea that all Democrats share. This is usually contradictory to the ideologies of a Theocrat, as they are much more religiously Fundamentalist when it comes to their policies and ideals. These Theocrats are something that Barack Obama will have to battle with during the next elections, as according to speculation, if Sarah Palin in 2012 decides to run for president, she would be foolish not to play into their intrigues. But this poses a threat to the Liberty which we all find comforting, as the beliefs of these Theocrats have the potential to muddy the line of Church and State, meaning our nation could become a religiously guided one, rather than legally and rationally determined enterprise. If the Theocrats happened to be Catholics and were able to implement religiously inclined protocols and policies, I would not be surprised if our Income Taxes were to go straight to the Vatican as an offering for the Pope's blessings towards a newly Catholicized state. That would turn the USA into a "Spiritual Welfare State", rather than existential. But I'm no Republican, so you can count me out when it comes to voting for Sarah Palin in 2012. But by then we'd probably be living in a Fascist state, so I probably won't have any choice.

The wanna seem like he is a Progressive

Glenn Beck

Whose really not sure if he is

Right-wing,

Liberal,

Socialist,

Democrat hater
who pushes his
Theocrat (ic) ideas
Hoping that his viewers believe he is a

Fundamentalist
Constitutionalist,
and hates
Barack Obama
and wants

Sarah Palin 2012 to become our POTUS

For

Liberty and to redeem all the brave women and men who have died, just like he had the opportunity to do, but chose not to, and remain safe and be a clown
and eventually we might find out that he is a bigger

Income Tax cheat than a certain Harlem congressional representative, who by the way, disgusts me, lol, whilst Glenn Beck played the gotcha game and the reverse, reverse race card
and with his milllions and millions of dollars (26 million, by the way, last year) still talks about things like he is still a nobody drunken radio idiot,

and is actually a resident of the greatest

Welfare state
not created by

Republican

Fascist Jerkoffs.

Meanwhille Bill O'Reilly is on my list of the most snobbiest punks that I'd like to punch the hell out of, just so I could watch him laying and lying on the floor and whining. And Katie Couric? I'd do her. Joy Behar? Yikes and puke! Who was the other one in my post? I can't remember.

Name one. Anyone. I'm sure I could insult them very well, using their own words.

Tonight on Glenn Beck, we discuss those progressive, liberal, socialist, Democrats and how they are Destroying our liberty. Tonight, I have our Right-wing darling, that Christian Fundamentalist savior of all that is holy, the Führer of fascism the theocrat of all theocrats to plug her new book Sarah Palin 2012 (The Momma Bear Armageddon), and also to discuss how Barack Obama's progressive liberal agenda is destroying liberty and raising income tax in order to force everyone into a welfare state.

Glen Beck is a right wing fundamentalist who wants us all to hate Democrats, like that progressive, liberal, socialist good for nothing Barack Obama, who invented the income tax, don't you know. And, further, for us all to happily embrace the fascist stylings of liberty that a wholesome theocrat could bring to our corrupt welfare state - so vote Republican... Sarah Palin 2012.

This message brought to you by the coalition to utilize utterly unsourced propaganda and rhetoric to elect yet another republican into office. C'mon people... there are nations to invade, corporations that hate rules and love money, and Democrats to blame for all fo it!

Progressives believe that right-wing neo-conservatives such as Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are responsible for duping the moronic masses of Republicans, into allowing powerful people to turn this country into a fascist dictatorship run by greedy corporations. While Republicans believe that liberals want to create a socialist welfare state, citing the policies of Barack Obama as that of Democrats in general. The truth is that everything from the income tax, to the theocratic beliefs of the more die hard Fundamentalists, is merely a smoke screen to disguise the issues at hand from what they really are; a population against it's corporate masters.

Mostly I enjoy reading your threads, even if I cannot agree with some of your positions. But this thread IMO is little more than a (so-called) "progressive's" circle jerk. Can I say that? Hope so, because the description is sooo apropos.

If not, then let's just call it a "mean spirited" (libs love to accuse people of that, although as this thread shows, they are often the most guilty of it), election sour grapes sort of thread.

Have a great New Years and new year!

Oh you didn't get the memo? Yeah I'm pretty much done with the whole left/right thing. Progressive is too pro-government and Libertarian is too anti-government. Besides the whole political argument is pointless anyway, it's just so they can watch us running around screaming at each other about petty things that are currently irrelevant.

And this thread really had no 'progressive/liberal' lean to it, I simply made this thread to see what each member creates out of the statements I provided in the OP. That would give us all a clear indication of not only their political leanings but also if they prefer to be a polarizing figure or not, oh and it is fun too.

Quit trying to ruin everything and just have some fun for once.

Well, your list of words was rather heavily weighted to one of the sides you say you no longer care about.

And I was referring more to the thread posts by others who were (what a surprise!) taking it in the direction I described than the OP, although I think you knew this would be the case when you started the thread. Disingenuous much?

Nice to hear you can have such fun with politics. For me, the effect ALL ( I said ALL) politicians have and try to have on my life makes it deadly serious to me.

No, my choices for fun will always lie somewhere far from politics.
