this is bad lincoln park, coal chamber? might as well bend over and take it...look if you want to step it up check Archaeon, At The Gates, if that too heavy tone down a notch to Parkway Drive or As I Lay Dying or From Autumn To Ashes if that too much you still have Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, etc etc my point is that you should not subject or limit yourself to top 40 "metal" without hearing the real stuff first

If you want to fight to the tune of 4 hardcore cellos...

This song would make fighting dishes epic....

Something I thought would be great to blast at a G20 protest....

And finally, anything that Jari Mäenpää has touched...

Both also double as good work-out tracks

When I used to box it was the Rocky 3 soundtrack all the way!

Thanks for all the additions! Some good stuff I have never heard before

I had to take a break before I started yelling obscenities! Even though that is, at times therapeutic!

@XXXN3O - Flag on the field!
I meant "wham" as in contact with bad intentions, not "wham" as in a pop singer's hand slap on his own butt!

'faint' isn't what I would call a fight song but I like it as a song.

coal chamber?

listen to the words of that particular song & the rhythm of the guitars and drums and you *might* understand why I chose it.

might as well bend over and take it...

is that what you would do?
I wonder how many metal musicians are gay.
bet that would mess with your head wouldn't it!?

look if you want to step it up check Archaeon, At The Gates, if that too heavy tone down a notch to Parkway Drive

PFFFFT. I don't mind parkway but you're hardly breaking any new ground in brutality with those bands.

or As I Lay Dying or From Autumn To Ashes if that too much you still have Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, etc etc my point is that you should not subject or limit yourself to top 40 "metal" without hearing the real stuff first

how is killswitch and parkway NOT "commercial"? seriously.

finally this wasn't a thread about 'heaviest metal' it was a thread about 'fight songs' and you failed to mention even ONE song, just rattled off a bunch of band names and asserted your superiority over the other posters.

btw - I have all the SYL albums and f---ing love them. I don't know any other bands that manage to be that brutal and still make enjoyable music. Though I might after I listen to some of the other stuff posted here..
