The biggest problem is her faking her own ancestry, her inconsistent story about how she was made a shaman, claiming to be shaman over two North American tribes, using the sacred pipe, the regalia, the feathers, and using traditional ceremonies mixed in with new age belief systems. She came out with a story two weeks ago that said a Salish elder named falling feathers, made her a shaman before dying, and that he never contacted the tribe to let them know what he had done. This woman fabricated all this without understanding how tribes work in the real world. The worst of this is her charging for these ceremonies which is sacrilege.

Her basic message of love and how we should treat each other and being more heart centered is a good one though. She adopted the Native American background I think, in order to make herself more marketable and colorful.

I have watched almost every one of her videos out there and there is a distinct change in the tone of her voice when comparing the earlier ones with the more recent. For example, the Zurich videos are extremely creepy, the glazed over look and the baby-ish monotone voice. Not sure what is happening with her on a private level. Perhaps she is mind controlled? I don't know just throwing that out there.

Lets see what happens here with this situation. I think its ridiculous that it costs almost $400 dollars just to go see David Wilcock do a presentation. If these people are trying to inform the world... personally, I would not be charging that much, no way.

thanx for the info, i did not know about the more recent elder she was claiming, nor did i know about the video of her initiation and the dancing. i still need to watch that.
from the first time i read about her, which was actually here, a thread about her switzerland speech,
i called my native friends, and no one knew of her.
i always assumed she was basically part of this tribe.

rainbows

basically exactly what you're explaining.
i know rainbows, have for many years, don't do the 'gatherings', but there are some good folks involved.
lots of dumb stuff also and in ways she just fits right in.

The more i think about this one the more i just think that if she lied it doesn't matter what her message is: any nice person knows the basic truths that she promotes: inside out: in their heart.

Without examples and exacts its just no good.
If she made that up, she made other things up: ie, the stuff in her talks: and she charges for these talks: its not just a little trust issue here folks: its outright fraud and its totally opposite of what she claims to be and support.

I hope to god this turns out to be wrong and that whoever gave her shaman provenance is brought forward to clear this up because otherwise we have somebody whose just as bad as most politicians on our hands. a monster.

Plastic medicine men/women have long been a thorn in the side for Native people. They make me sick. Not only can their actions hurt people (like the woman who died during a sweat lodge ceremony) but also make the real medicine people look bad. One thing non-natives should know is that real medicine people do not charge for ceremonies. Also, they do not travel around spreading a "message". Most of their time is spent with their people.

This bothers me, charging money for spiritual healing. I know some real shamans. They don't ever seem to need money. I haven't ever heard any of them asking for money at ceremonies. Generally we don't let non-natives into our ceremonies. As far as the environment is concerned, my tribe has one of the toughest environment divisions in the country, thanks in part to our casino. We protect our wetlands here. Down in the real swampy areas there are turtle crossing signs along the road. If you want to build something here, you have to get an environmental impact study from the tribe's environment division. When our elders do anything they always take into account how it will affect the next seven generations. It's really sad how people will do just about anything for money. And charging money for spiritual knowledge that should be freely given. Lame Deer called money "frogskins." I hope she chokes on her frogskins.

Again (as per an old post in a similar ATS thread), look for the "forked-tongue". She has flicked hers out a few times in some videos. Fraud is not good. Anyone can come across as being "love and light" and "too good to be true".

Wow, I'm really glad to hear this for some reason.

Her messages have NEVER resonated with me... She gets choked up over nothing and barely anything she shares is relevant, informative, or useful. It's great that the Native Americans, true wisdom holders, are outing her on such claims.

If you want some information about our reality, check out George Kavassilas. Deception runs thick. He and Aaron Mccollum are some of the only such people I regard with respect.

Edit: Any New Age paradigm where they are charging for information is a red flag.

My friends,

How can anyone pass judgement on this Sister?

She only provided what people wanted, or else they would not have paid for it. She delivered a message that was popular because it resonated with people. You are the ones you have been waiting for. It is true regardless of how it is delivered. Did she have to have a fantastical background to convey this message? Absolutely! You wouldn't have it any other way.

The new age book and trinket market is a billion dollar industry. People are inventing new fantastical ways of channeling energy everyday from mood rings to orgone generators. People are lead on journey's to open their third eye, awaken their kundalini, balance their chi, talk to aliens and angels, foretell the future, levitate, and all manner of things to make themselves feel like they have something over the next guy, to feel GOOD about themselves. YOU create these things by begging for them.

So she donned the trappings of a Shaman. Would you have listened to her message any other way? Would you have believed her? So she charged exorbitant fees. Would her words have any value to you if she didn't travel the world spreading her message? If she didn't have the means to produce her videos? If she was a homeless person living on the street, would you care what she had to say?

Hypocrites!

YOU are the ones you have been waiting for. You DO have the power to change this world. You can make a difference by loving each other. This is TRUTH and I don't care how the message is conveyed.

I for one had hope that her message was untainted because it is truth. So it is tainted. It is STILL the TRUTH.

I wish the world didn't need to hear it from a celebrity. I wish the world didn't need it to be wrapped in fantasy. I wish the world would wake up and see what we have become and why.

My Brothers and Sisters, we are on the verge of destroying ourselves. We have judged ourselves into a corner. We have weapons of unimaginable strength and we are soon to unleash them in ways that defy humanity. We fight for a God we call the God of peace and Love and various tongues, to prove we are the chosen people. Can we not see we are all Gods children sharing his creation? If there is only one God, how can we limit him to be only ours? If he is the spirit of the creation, how can we be so destructive?

So my Sister made a bad judgement and succumbed to chasing the almighty dollar. So what. We are a culture that would have it no other way.

If you would do it differently, prove it and throw away the worthless money. Otherwise, judge her not.

But what do I know. I am just a homeless philosopher.

With Love,

Your Brother

About 70 years ago, there was Grey Owl otherwise known as Archibald Belaney.

Grey Owl (or Wa-sha-quon-asin, from the Ojibwe wenjiganoozhiinh, meaning "great horned owl" or "great grey owl") was the name Archibald Belaney (September 18, 1888 – April 13, 1938) adopted when he took on a First Nations identity as an adult. A British native, he was most notable as an author and one of the "most effective apostles of the wilderness".[1] Revelation of his British origins after his death adversely affected his reputation for some time.

Excellent point.

I'll add that since science has confirmed Man stems from a common ancestor She is as Native American as any other, her ancestors just took a different path over this rock. So, I here by declare her a Shaman of the Tribe of Man. As I am the only one who seems to recognise this tribe, there is no one to dispute me declaring her a Shaman of said tribe.

Keisha, if your listening, You are hereby the Shaman of the Tribe of Man, as well as your own tribe of Many Colors. As Shaman of the Tribe of Man, I only ask that you encourage the planting of fruit trees so that our Brothers and Sisters never go hungry.

Anyone else want to be a Shaman of the Tribe of Man? If so, it is so, free of charge.

Love one another.

Judge not, Love all, be at peace.

With Love,

Your Brother

P.S. I saw that!

I found an arbitrary youtube vid of her the other day, and was immediately taken by the impression that she was seriously bad news. Yes the words she says sound good, but i had an immediate bad vibe from her, and i don't get that often from youtube vids of anyone.

She is bent, her mind has been seriously messed with on some levels, and she is only playing a part for someone. That's my opinion, and finding this info really cements it in my mind. Someone mentioned a "glazed look", that was part of it. Also, her speech was, not clear, and the intonations flat. She was trying to show a passion that her bodily language didn't express, i think that sums it up for me. As for the content of what she said, meaningless platitudes was all i heard, nothing of any substance, just saying nice things.

Re the Zurich videos, I believe it's possible that the change in the way she is speaking is due to the fact that she's addressing an audience of people whose mother tongue is not english - therefore she's speaking slowly and as clearly as she can.

As far as I am concerned, her message is sound, and we need people giving messages like this. If she has deliberately lied that is disappointing, but that has not yet been proven. I'm sorry to see people already stating it as fact. I too a bit bothered when I saw she was charging for weekend workshops - but still, the message is good. I will be interested to see how this progresses.

Official Statement Regarding Native American Issues
12/26/2010

Recently, Kiesha called the tribal council office to inquire about her official standing in the tribe. She was surprised to hear that Falling Feathers had not acted with the permission of the tribal council and therefore could not necessarily convey tribal authority.
Kiesha had no reason to doubt that her initiation came with full authority and recognition. For that reason and because tribal members were referred to her as shaman in the first year of her initiation, she spoke in her first talks of being made a “shaman for the Sioux and Salish” people.

This is pretty hilarious. "The tribal council" office? to get her "official tribal council" membership? What a joke.

"The Message Is Good"? What is so good about bozo Norway Spiral predictions, just because she's making 2012 predictions that "is good"? What, like the basic "lie" that the death of the gulf stream would somehow create an ecological disaster? That is a LIE, end of story. This BS discredits all true indian elders who have worked their entire life for themselves to be elders and shaman of their tribe, that aren't some BS hippy "tribe of many colors"(bs as well), who decided to make some hot cash on a bunch of ridiculous prophcies. If she was so concerned with the "truth", she wouldn't charge to let people know about it.

Much love to the Indian elders. I am sure what they do for their communities is note worthy. Of course it isn't gonna matter much if the whole world goes tits up. There won't be much of a land to save if we don't come together to save it. Being sequestered away on a reservation where only the few of "The Tribe" hear the words of wisdom isn't gonna heal mother EARTH.

Remain reclusive, and you will be considered irrelevant. Speak up and unite with those seeking to make positive change. We are family and it is time we realised this.

With Love,

Your Brother

I am not interested in predictions or prophecies, but I believe the message about living more from the heart and less from the intellect is a good message, as is the one about valuing and loving mother earth and treating her with love and respect and gratitude. I don't expect you to agree. You are entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.

Thanks for the excellent points you make in your post. I agree, keeping the wisdom to a select few is not the way forward, unity and sharing is the only way.
