Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, and Chris Hedges gives their insight in how Hollywood depict war, and how Pentagon manipulate the movies to brainwash the public to vote for war since 1945.

Especially Oliver Stone gives some amazing insights, very surprising, since his World Trade Center movie was so tame.

Hollywood has always glorified war and combat. There is a certain romanticism that has been built up around the idea of the "noble warrior". We all want to be John Wayne, Cary Grant or, to be a bit more modern, Bruce Willis or Tom Hanks. This may just be me, but it seems relatively recently that the focus has been more on the horror of war (Saving Private Ryan) as opposed to the glorification of the grand mythos of war.

This is just my two cents.
