You have to read this to believe it: Lawmakers Seek Cash During Key Votes.

Numerous times this year, members of Congress have held fundraisers and collected big checks while they are taking critical steps to write new laws, despite warnings that such actions could create ethics problems. The campaign donations often came from contributors with major stakes riding on the lawmakers' actions.

Um, does this sound like accepting "bribes" to anyone else reading this!? I sincerely hope that this gets investigated and the perpetrators charged and punished accordingly. I won't hold my breath though as they have ALL proven to be nothing more than a den of thieves!

Bumping! Sad that no one cares enough to comment on this now public admission. Then again... it certainly explains why this country is going down the Sh*tter!!!

Hello? Anyone? Two days and no one cares that lawmaker's votes are being bought with bribes? When asked about it, they refused to comment. Your elected "Representatives" are being bought off!
