In memo after memo in recent years, officials of the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See have reported back to Washington on the impact of papal trips, statements and documents; on the Vatican's behind-the-scenes efforts to head off conflicts; on church-state tensions in Latin America; on the evolution of Catholic teaching on bioethics; and even on the international repercussions of ecumenical affairs.

When the Vatican condemned human trafficking, embassy officials met with Vatican counterparts to broaden areas of cooperation on that issue.

And when Pope Benedict XVI said in 2007 that "nothing positive comes from Iraq, torn apart by continual slaughter as the civil population flees," the embassy quickly objected, telling a high-level Vatican official that Iraq was experiencing positive developments and that the papal comments were not constructive.

To anyone still wondering why so much attention is being paid to the world's smallest state, a U.S. Embassy cable of 2009 -- prepared for President Barack Obama ahead of his first meeting with Pope Benedict -- gave the answer:

"The Vatican is second only to the United States in the number of countries with which it enjoys diplomatic relations (188 and 177, respectively), and there are Catholic priests, nuns and laypeople in every country on the planet. As a result, the Holy See is interested and well-informed about developments all over the globe," it said.

Since that memo was written,

the Vatican has established full diplomatic relations with Russia, bringing the total to 178 countries.

That leaves only about 16 countries off the list, places such as China, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.

The Vatican also maintains delegations to nearly 20 international institutions, including the United Nations.

The WikiLeaks cables have described Vatican diplomats as generally well-informed and as influential lobbyists behind the scenes. What's amazing is that the Vatican accomplishes all this with a relatively tiny diplomatic corps -- a few hundred bishops and priests who were hand-picked and trained at a little-known diplomatic academy in downtown Rome.

The academy has only 30 or so priest-students, who spend years studying papal diplomacy, diplomatic style, diplomatic history and international law. By the time they graduate, they are expected to be fluent in four languages.

Most of the graduates go on to serve at lower-level positions at a Vatican nunciature, or embassy, and are rotated to new posts after a few years. Some may be brought back for a turn at the "Second Section" of the Vatican Secretariat of State, a kind of international nerve-center where about 35 prelates keep tabs on the entire world.

Eventually, they may become papal nuncios, or ambassadors. The nuncio's job differs from that of a normal ambassador in several respects, however. For one thing, a nuncio acts not only as the pope's representative to a foreign government, but as the pope's liaison with the local Catholic population. Much of his time, therefore, is spent dealing with internal church affairs.

In a broader sense, unlike other ambassadors, the papal nuncio is promoting a moral agenda, not the commercial or political interests of his government.

" A primary focus of papal diplomats in recent decades has been human rights, peaceful resolution of conflicts and protection of core social values." Those concerns show up repeatedly in the WikiLeaks cables.

In Rome, the Vatican also communicates with U.S. diplomats through various agencies of the Roman Curia, in particular the pontifical councils that deal with justice and peace, migration, health care, charity work and the family. Embassy officials seek out experts who work at these councils for briefings on the Vatican's position and -- as one can now read in detail -- report it all back to the U.S. State Department.

Vatican officials, of course, also are reading the WikiLeaks cables with interest. So far they seem unsurprised at the content. Much of the U.S. Embassy's effort seems geared toward enlarging areas of U.S.-Vatican cooperation, which has never been a secret objective. The cables show the Vatican as open on some issues, such as human trafficking, but clearly wary of becoming too closely identified with the policies and initiatives of the world's biggest superpower.

Occasionally, there are frank assessments of differences, as in a U.S. Embassy memo from July 2001, which forecast continued problems with the Vatican over Israel, the death penalty and Iraq.

"The Vatican will continue to oppose U.S. efforts to isolate Saddam Hussein. We should recognize that the Vatican will not support our efforts in Iraq, and investigate ways to limit Vatican interference with our objectives," the cable said tersely.

The WikiLeaks cables often reveal U.S. diplomats as trying very hard to figure out the Vatican, as they deal with an institution that is both a sovereign state and the center of a global religion. One "confidential" cable boiled it down to the simplest terms: "The Vatican strives to translate its religious beliefs and its humanitarian concerns into concrete policies."

" A primary focus of papal diplomats in recent decades has been human rights, peaceful resolution of conflicts and protection of core social values." Those concerns show up repeatedly in the WikiLeaks cables.

Boon,

Thanks!
And hope you can investigate that info I put in your thread about Soros. It was new to me.
I believe that part is referring to a cable that was dated 2001.

This should come as no surprise to anyone. The Vatican helped many Nazis escape around the end of WW2 and shortly after.

If you haven't read Jim Marrs book, "The Rise of the Fourth Reich." I highly recommend it. It not only deals with the Vatican's aiding of the Nazi's, it also points out how we've come to be where we're at today and quite possibly where we are heading.

In the interest of keeping this post short and I feel the authors of the articles have done a much better job of presenting their case then I could, I've provided a few researched links below and a brief discription of what they deal with(unfortunately you have to copy and paste them into your browser). I came across this information by Googling Nazis and the Vatican.

Thanks for your time and I hope you will find this material informative.

According to whistleblower site Wikileaks, the US Embassy in the Vatican reported to Washington that the Pope is receptive to using genetically modified crops (GMOs) to fight world hunger, but may encounter resistance from bishops from the Philippines and other countries.

Among Wikileak's latest disclosures is a cable sent to Washington, DC in 2009 that touched on Pope Benedict XVI's remarks on environmental protection, among other things.

I personally dislike the concept of GMOs.

"Early modern humans" like Cro Magon man are not anatomically perfect humans. I'm still trying to find the place true humans first emerged.

Good luck with that. Do though keep in mind that genetically we are continuing to mutate and 100,000 years from now we will probably not be considered anatomically perfect humans either.

No little people in Rome had that kind of foresight or comprehension. Humans today can barely project what the future will hold. They would have to be either not human, psychic humans or immortal humans.

Really then please explain why people like Socrates, Plato, Cato, and Cicero are still considered some of the finest minds the world has ever known.

In fact this plan Rome has been using requires only ‘simple’ math (Divide and Conquer Warfare to eliminate all divisions) and philosophy (a basic understanding of human behavior).

Some would say these ‘little’ people you refer to which still today are considered Masters by Masters would have been better suited to freely consider these concepts than our overly indoctrinated world of mass media and education populace would be today.

Which is in fact why some people can not grasp the beautiful simplicity of the plan Rome has been using, because ego makes them by nature to want to make things far more complex than they are.

The best planners though use a time tested philosophy of “Make it simple, make it stupid” because the simpler something is the harder it is for people who are prone to make things intrinsically more complex than they are or need to be are stymied when it comes to grasping these things.

Pseudo intellectuals have always struggled with the simple concepts that true intellectuals conceive by insisting they must be more complex than they are, as a form of evidence of their own intellect which they consider to be superior even though it is tragically flawed.

In asymmetrical warfare everything including every deviance of human behavior and psychology is factored in, and planned for, and made to be strength.

Your belief in this case simply becomes your opponents strength which by their sheer understanding of it, and your lack of understanding of it, makes it easy to turn and use against you.

Havn't named G-d? The Israelite deity was named before Rome ever existed.

Actually no you haven't and it is the Habiru who taught you to spell God G-d because no, they have never revealed their God(s) name.

They simply refer to him as our lord which in the case of your spelling G-d is actually GOLD.

There you go with the little pissant humans with grand schemes again. Humans can barely maintain stable governments for a few generations. Anything trying to conspire on that level would have to be superhuman. Humans by nature are factionalist and egotistically selfish creatures. They do not like to carry out long term plans, especially ones laid out by people who died 2000 years ago. They simply don't give a crap. The people involved in such a longterm plan would require superhuman clairvoyance.

Oh dear we have all heard of the infamous self loathing Jew, you my friend sound as if you are self loathing Human.

Where your thinking breaks down is governments are temporal by nature, while Institutions and Blood Lines tend to be far more enduring.

The Vatican has stood for thousands of years, so has the City of London, Paris, and many others.

In fact the race has been carefully cultivated and grown by mathematical formulas based on space, resources, emerging technology and expanding populations.

It’s all simple math and blood lines have a vested interest, to hide the crimes of their ancestors, as institutions have a vested interest to hide the crimes of its past administrators.

Don’t confuse the average human being bound by societal constructs indoctrinated in them by the state, church and familiar unit with the Powers that Be or those of us who are forces of nature.

The most enslaved person is the one who imagines they are free, and danger my friend lurks where you least expect it, not where you most expect it.

The 12 gods trace back to the Hittites, which trace back to Indo European gods.

You in fact have some more involved theories on this that have to do with the basic attributes of human beings and your belief that the 12 classic gods are a form of brain trust. I can appreciate you not wanting to delve deeply into this here, but these are things we have discussed in greater depth at other times and places on the site, so lets not water down things just for the sake of others when it comes to interchanges between us.

We are not far off in our concepts of the 12 classic Gods or their potential influence but I am still quite aways away from concluding their precise nature and limits through self evidence, though I am working on that.

Humans do not have that kind of capacity. They can barely maintain their own households, much less millenia long conspiracies to hold people in bondage.

This is precisely why humans are in bondage and have long sought out Masters.

However there are always Masters to lead the masses and take advantage of their weaknesses by trying to turn them into collective strengths for the benefits of the Masters.

You are a very bright man Mr. Boyd, one I respect but I intend to free the slaves.

Sorry, I know they might not want to be free, but this Master is tired!

Thanks.

And who thought they were in the business of religion.
Pehaps politics is a religion after all. A religion of control.

it actually seems to be a lot more than this...

The Roman Catholic Church is rooted in the Roman Empire. Its first Roman pope was Constantin, the man from today's Serbia who's as well responsible to have promoted the Orthodox religion in Eastern Europe.

There's very good reasons to see it as the continuity of the former Empire (and the popes as Emperors), even though its seat has moved quite a few times, until being grounded back in Rome, and consolidated as an autonomous State by Mussolini under the flag of the Vatican. Turns out that one of the biggest, probably the biggest ideal of Mussolini's fascist dictatorship was to bring back the Roman Empire in its full glory. In a way, he did.

A lot of this has got to do with Malta... like the Order of the Knights of Malta. Malta has been some sort of focal point for every single empire around the Mediterranean for thousands of years. Its geographic location, being at the very center of the Mediterranean has always been a key geopolitical point, for all issues related to trade, diplomacy and of course, military operations. So now turns out the island of Malta is under the strict rule of the Roman Catholic Church! There are many other striking similarities with the Roman Empire... like how it's being run exclusively by mens, just like the patricians.

Did the Roman Empire really felled, or it evolved as a superstate, or meta-State, since it used the French, German British, and Spanish monarchies in Europe to seat its political dominion. It took a huge part in colonization of America and the Far East, and was even, for some time, the main driving political force behind it.

Makes me wonder what real power the Catholic Church (perhaps through all these Jesuit politicians) really has on the non-Catholic world like in the US.

Well when the waters dry up (people leaving the Church) and the beast devours her and eats up her fleshly parts (the nations steal away her money), any foothold the Vatican has will end.

We are pretty much seeing that happen today. People are leaving the Church in droves. The only profit the organization gets is through the businesses and investments it holds (commercialism). We'll probably see the political fallout this year with the crash of the Euro and US Dollar. Without the cash and influence, the Church is left devastated and naked.

However, the entities that are running the Church will still be here pulling the strings. It's only the facade that will be destroyed. People's allegiances will be directed over towards the government. That's the whole idea of the scripture anyways - and the mark of the beast.

But if you're not Biblically inclined, all that means is that people will be more concerned about the welfare of their government than their religion. Any way you look at it, that's already happening.

When our progenitors discovered that humans had learned too much too fast and did not have the moral capability to handle the knowledge, then they had a dilemma.

Genesis 3:22 "The man has become like us, knowing good and evil."

Man, not having fully developed a moral conscience, misused that knowledge and began to create the genetic abominations (of myth) and to kill his fellow man rather than to simply enjoy what had already been perfectly created for him. It was man who had the desire to usurp his progenitors and obviously, there was some evil leader in the mix of leading man in this direction and teaching these forbidden "secrets of heaven".

It was our progenitors who became "sorry they created man." The experiment had gone awry. Thus, they decided the only solution was to destroy their created beings, thus, "the flood".

Man has been given free will but only for a specified period of time. That time is almost up. Immortal humans? Yes, I do believe there are some Immortals who exist. Immortality is something that is granted, not something that is earned or that anyone has "a right to".

You are right about "superhuman" forces behind the actions of the people in power. However, they do not have clairvoyance. They are relying on psychology and years of studying human nature. This is why Jesus taught us how to change our human nature---turn the other cheek, etc. etc. It goes against the ego that rules most people. It helps one to develop a humbleness that is inner beauty. Many of the lessons that will help people escape the trap of Rome are in these teachings that help to change our nature and make us aware that we need to discipline ourselves. And I don't think you can leave out religion or the spiritual aspects and "get" the whole picture.

If we do not fight Rome now, chances are we will never ever have another chance, and our race will be consigned to slavery and being ruled over by one all powerful central authority.

The way you fight is to make a choice and take a stand. This is not a war with bullets. This is why you still have freedom of choice. The old wager is whether man will choose man's rule over him, or the perfect rule of self determination and whether man has developed the maturity to live up to this.

I don't see it in the past of anybody. You can't judge current day people by their entire history, especially one that goes back literally 2000 years ago. That's quite literally the same as blaming the president of Italy for Rome enslaving Ethiopians 2100 years ago. Makes any sense? Nope. Neither does blaming the pope for a dictator of the same title a thousand years ago. Once they started actually reading their own Bible, they stopped such things. It's not complicated at all. You don't judge a main based on how his ancestors acted. I'd say the only exception would be Nazis and that's all that comes to mind. Last I checked, the Pope was just one of many children forced marched into youth groups. But I don't see many people yelling at Americans who were forced into the same groups.

Point is. You judge a man based on his current statements. Not even his previous ones from decades ago, for people change. You judge a man by his current statements, beliefs, and actions. You don't judge the men under his command by his actions. You judge them by their own.

It seems more and more so that these days people judge a few based on something a thousand years ago. It's pitiful.

Along with the Vatican, the American evangelicals, the Iranians, and many others are gaining back positions they lost long ago. That doesn't make them all evil, that doesn't mean they are trying to being the world into the past, that doesn't even mean they're interested in taking over the world. It means a human being is doing what a human being would do in a high position: have a voice and be listened too. People still have free will to chose to listen or not and they still have the free will to not live by what their fathers did. Please stop assuming mountains of bullcrap based on one or a few shrewed pieces of possible evidence, not even truth, that something is happening.

They were philosophers. People can think, but organizing and planning for a project that lasts millenia. None of them could do that. The other problem is they are mortal.

Humans do not like to follow the directions of dead people. Every generation redefines itself. It may borrow from the previous, but just as species evolve biologically, human civilization and society evolves every generation.

Actually no you haven't and it is the Habiru who taught you to spell God G-d because no, they have never revealed their God(s) name.

They simply refer to him as our lord which in the case of your spelling G-d is actually GOLD.

You have some respectable sources for that accusation? The Tetragrammaton was around before Rome ever mattered. The last bit about gold is absurd.

In fact the race has been carefully cultivated and grown by mathematical formulas based on space, resources, emerging technology and expanding populations.

By who? More humans? Humans without computers? Humans whose minds grow feeble within 90 years?

You know if some ancient Egyptians built some immortal AIs thousands of years ago, I would be more inclined to believe some of these hypotheses. Even then the machines would have to have some amazing psychohistorical abilities.

The only plausible way this might work, and then probably for only a few generations, would be for the Engineers of such a project to be a religious cult and not just any old cult either. I'm talking about a cult with severe brainwashing and indoctrination, bound by a very strict religious code. There would have to be autistic "mentats" bred to compute various plans, with scribes adept at cryptography recording the computations in archives. Vast well protected archives would have to be established containing the data. The data itself would have to be treated as some holy code revered by the houses that comprise the cult.

The houses of the cult, would have to have an advanced, 19th century, understanding of mathematics, genetics/eugenics, sociology, political science, and economics.

I would also suggest the use of ancient Analytical Engines, using the same technology as the Antikythera mechanism. These engines would be revered as holy relics by the cult, possibly as "Oracle Engines".

Lastly and I cannot see a way around it, is the use of psychics, either as clairvoyant spies/inquisitors, telekinetic assassins, and the use of Channeling mediums.

This would historically, if they existed, make them offshoots of the Pythagoreans and Platonists. Or even better, Pythagoras and Plato could have been exposed to their "mysteries" or initiated into them.

I still can't see it lasting long though. The Roman Patricians didn't give much thought to the teachings of Pythagoras and Plato. There is no indication that until Marcus Aurelius, the Emperors cared much for philosophy.

If it was written as a novel, Dan Brown style, I would go with the above.

I still hypothesize, the forces at work are not human though and the Twelve are not simple myth.
