Reading the cables, it's hard to imagine that before 1984, the United States did not have diplomatic relations with the Vatican

But knowing the rate of illegal immigration from Latin American countries since the Reagan/Bush Junta began fomenting turmoil in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and El Salvador then it makes perfect sense.
That is, if one is willing to admit that there are tens of millions of undocumented aliens in the United States.

Here is a photo most likely of assange as a child in that cult.

Perhaps we will hear more about the cult aspect in his life when he writes his book. Whatever influence it has had, it has probably made him sympathetic to others who are trapped in such situations as he has been truthful across the board in releasing information in the realms of politics, commerce, secret societies and religious cults. His group has done quite a bit to release "secret " documents that cult leaders keep from their membership. If you look at the Leaks mirror sites you will see quite a bit has been exposed on religious cults and particularly Scientology.

No one can accuse him of favoritism toward any religion, cult group, fraternal affiliation, commercial venture, or political group. The WikiLeaks organization seems neutral as far as having any affiliations that would cause them to compromise their mission. Assange owes no allegiance to protect any of these type "Brotherhoods".

Where would you find any other journalist who has not taken an oath to some "journalistic society" (Manuscript Society) or pledged some Greek Fraternity? This guy is on his own. You can't be honest if you are under the authority of an organization that owns you through pledge, blackmail or reward. I see none of these entities coming into play to prohibit WikiLeaks from being just what you see at face value.

I would venture to say that there is not a paid journalist or media spokesperson who is not pledged to some organization and has something being used as leverage to make them compliant to obedience.

Assange does not run with the pack.

True that. They did submerge a bit on the political scence for many decades, however. Sort of an appearance I guess we could say. In reality nothing was different, only the method, and the clothes.

A goodly portion of the population in the U.S. is Catholic; they would be silly to ignore it. Also, the Catholic church pretty much single-handedly controlled Western politics for about 1,000 years. I wouldn't be surprised to find them still pretty deeply involved.

Combine this with the Treaty of 1213, or the fact that a 3rd party can not force someone to break a contract under duress, and you will realize the Magna Carta is invalid, and the Treaty of 1213 is still in effect.
