Actually; That was De Niro explaining how not to get caught having large sums of money by flaunting it around like lady ga ga in a mink driving a ferrari...

There is a similar lesson 'dealt' by Denzel Washington in "American Gangster" ... as noteworthy

(NOTHING to do with the global banking crisis, other than the fact that crooks all run the show)

The title for this was misleading. Robert Dinero wasn't explaining anything. What I saw was a clip from the Goodfellas. Also, an explanation on what the clip was would have saved me the bother of clicking on it.
