Yep we all make some mistakes in our lifes thats for sure. It can be big things or small stuff and I made my share of them to

So, what have you done?

I'll tell ya something I did wrong (even though it wasnt' really my fault ya see)

One day my roommates friend (whos' a proffessor at Northern Kentucky University) asked Rod (my roommate) if he knew somebuddy who could fill in for him on this one day. Rod said that maybe I could-- All I would need to do is show up and show the college kids a movie-- no big whoop.

Well I said I'd be happy to do it
When the day came I wore my best clothes and a tie and drove down to the college with a movie I picked out "Brokeback Mountain'. The class was called "Adult Sexuality in Modern Society-2004' so I thought this movie would be aproppriate. (This was RODS movie not mine).

So I showed up and said hi to the guys and gals and slipped in the movie. We watched it together and everything was going pretty well until some wise ass in the class yelled out at me in the dark "Hey fatty, fatty!'
I was P.O.d but what could I do, kick his little college boy butt?

Anywho the movie played on. We got to the part in the movie when the 2 cowboys were goin to bed together in their little tent for some fun (ya see they was boyfriends thats' part of the story). Thats' when the problem started-- as soon as this scene started the VCR broke or something and that scene kept playing over and OVER about 20 times, the machine making this noise real loud "Psvt, Psvt, Psvt!' Some girl in the class screamed and I had to stand up and just turn the darn VCR off. I have NO idea why this happened ya see
.

The next thing I know the girl that screamed went and got the stupid security guards and I was "escorted' off the campus. Big deal.

So, what have you done, hmm?

My mother was just telling me about the time my brothers spanish pen pal came to visit, she told me how my brother an I bullied this spanish boy for 2 weeks, because he had short jeans and rubbish trainers, he also had an unhealthy obsession with sherlock holmes. Anyway my mun told me about this this evening and it made me feel guilty for being such a brat as a kid.

I farted in an elevator and instead of allowing someone to possibly indict me, I scrunched my nose, started waving my hand back and forth in front of my face and pointed at the guy in front of me who was facing forward

They make it on VHS.

Why that mistake? A movie showing 2 cow buddies going at it OVER AND OVER is a lil bit embarasing doncha think especially when you see it to a whole auditoriam class full of college kiddos??

Interesting....

a 2004 college class and you're showing a video that wasn't released until 2005.

Heh. Showing Brokeback Mountain in a class at NKU. That's too close to Cincinnati for it to be acceptable even in a college class. lol: That has got to be one of the most uptight conservative areas in this entire region!
I'm, serious about that! I'm an artist and while I receive some hateful comments sometimes for the paintings I show here in podunkville, I'm not forced to remove paintings from my shows like I have been in Cincinnati and surrounding area.

Now, got that out of the way. What was my biggest mistake I ever made? Probably making a career out of being in the U.S. Army. But at least now I can be snotty to people who want to insult me for making antiwar statements and telling me that if I was a real man and American I'd serve in the military and shut up in honor of soldiers dying to allow me free speech.

Hey inchworm. I know this is off topic & stuff, but can I ask a couple of questions?
Ive been wondering for a while, is that you in your avatar?
Is that an SS uniform without the collar flashes?

As for the original question: too many to mention, but probably trusting my ex with her senile boss.

In 1984, I had two good months of overtime and had $10,000 to blow.

Earlier I had bought the first Macintosh model computer. They also sold me some Microsoft software to go with it. Word, Plan, Chart, Basic. I liked them all.

I was all set to buy the ipo of Microsoft when Reagan came up with generous tax credits for investing in alternative energy projects.

I pulled the money from Schwabb and put the $10,000 into a biomass project in Barstow.

The biomass project was investigated by the IRS. You have to tell investors when the irs is investigating you which = no new investors. IRS will NEVER say investigation is over, IRS will never say there is no problem.

Result: Loss of $10,000, no tax credit, No multi-millions, have to work for the rest of my life, no exploring inca ruins, no private jets, no funding dinosaur digs, no funding homes for wayward girls, just work, dream, regret.

I guess my biggest mistake was getting most of my food from Wal-mart several months ago. If only I knew then what I know now. Also some of my actions in the middle-east. Also love. Not in any order.

Wayyyyyyy to many

One that stands out for me and still gives me cringey chills is when I was 18 and was asked to give a talk at my old high school about life in the Army.

I stood in front of the lecturn in front of hundreds of 15 year old pupils in my dress uniform proudly displaying my medals from the first gulf war, when i noticed some of the girls gasping and giggling.

Then i felt a draft "down there" and realised my flies (zipper) was open and i wasnt wearing underwear so i had my own pointer for the lecture

I was jacks cold embarrassment.

But was cheared up by my old music teacher who quite liked my pointer
