Ufo Or Just Another Anomaly On Google Sky?

Hello fellow ATSers.

So I came across this weird thing on google sky. Anyone know what this is? I haven't a clue. Usally I wouldn't think nothing ofit except it quite close to the Sirius orange blob thing.

RA 6h39m31.09s
DEC -13 30'20.89"

Nahh not a UFO i see these all the time when going over google sky, They must be map points or something along those lines

It's an artifact from the telescope. A reflection of a piece of said telescope. Not a UFO.

Oh, come on, you don't sound like you know anything about telescopes, spiders or not.

Check out the other threads on this. Compare the first photo to the inside of a telescope.

I've only had google sky a few days so I didn't know how common they were but i've seen loads of them now.

I think there should be a sticky on this board for some of the newer folk who haven't been around a while, or don't know much about astronomy. And the sticky should simply read:

"Attention Members: You can't use Google Sky to "hunt" for ufo's or any anomaly. It is a crude REFERENCE tool only."
