That is a good analogy, and food for thought. I agree. People keep saying we need to do something before it gets worse, but the way these things creep up you will never notice its happening until its too late.
Things are placed into law from panic and hysteria. It's slipping through a little bit at a time, but it's done for "safety" and done "for the children" Everybody loves children! lol so how can we say "No"?
Our rights are supposed to unalienable. Many people are choosing to exchange their rights, for "safety" or other such reasons. If anyone was really that concerned about September 11th, The government should have done something about it 50 years ago, when the U.S. funded and weaponized the Taliban during the cold war, or heeded the threats they've been making that they didn't like us and they were going to attack America and it's allies. And no one did anything about it.

An observation based on experience and history..
Its commendable many are choosing not to fly.. However that only
1. Affects the airlines.
2. Saves your own hide.
It doesnt help your fellow citizens who get treated as the lady in the article - that IS the beginning of much much worse things to come there.
3. It will have 0 effect upon DHS, TSA and all the rest of the agencies of the state - theyre funded by the government not by the airlines..
Its time to set aside your differences - your all americans not the hyphenated abomination that the state labels everyone there with.. Take back control of your country now as the situation is going to get much worse there in future if left unchecked.. But most likely my words fall upon deaf ears..

Thanks for posting this - flagged! Let's get the word out to all we can that these scanners give you cancer. We need to start a movement where every Patriot forces the pat down no matter what. This country has become a total farce. Our own government let the underwear bomber on the plane last Christmas and give the bombs to all the drugged out patsies they drag out to justify their pathetic existence. Amazing how the US is the only country doing this.

Get 5000 friends on FB by getting 5-10 new friends each day and post stories like this. Post to other websites. We ALL must do our part to spread this information. Don't just post only on ATS. We need to spread out all over the Internet and take it over with TRUTH!

Watch the shills come on the thread and say how we have to give up our Freedom for Security. lol We know who you serve but all the money in the world won't stop the truth. Go crazy out there!

Where do they get these idiots? They must have had to interview dozens of people to get these soundbites.

Would be nice to think so, but I guarantee you these were the first two people they asked. 99 percent of all the morons will say the same thing, along with, "If you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about"
"If it keeps us safe from the terrorists, I'm all for it"

Last time I was in a US airport, as we waited in three hour lines so that pea-brained high school dropouts could search everyone and determine if you were dangerous or not, I heard at least five people say almost those exact words without prompting. I was mortified.

The dumber everyone gets, the more I start to think that maybe TPTB are right, and we need a huge culling of the population.,,,,,

As sick as this situation is with that poor lady, I am a America with Persian roots on my fathers side, I have a Muslim name, I have a tattoo of Allah on my body visable and I travel everyweek of the year almost for work. I fly Internationally everyweek for the last 6 years.

I have never been patted down in the US, in Colombia, Chile, Brasil Yes but in the US I have never been bothered.

And I am 6' tall 250lbs body builder...go figure. If they tell me they are going to frisk me, I would just say:

" Um it has to be a woman seeing as I am gay (I am not though) and I tickle easily...then evertime she groaps me I can enjoy it (if she is halfway attractive) and giggle the whole time "

Still waiting for the day they want to pat me down... : )

I have been wondering where are the renegade attorneys who will step forward to defend these people against these atocities? There are millions of them in this country who havae the knowledge, the ability and the means to do this pro bono; where are they?
They would throw a monkey wrench in this part of the NWO agenda.
We need a voluntary team of them, where are they?

They would be heros forever in the minds of the people.
Their law business would be better than ever.

That is interesting.
From what I gather, it seems that Muslims have immuniy from this treatment.
This is for Americans only, and it seems that older folks with health problems are the target.
And sometimes scantily clad toddlers. They get their exposed bare legs fondled.

I agree with you, from what I have seen its more so the famales above 40ish that get bothered when I go through security.

Now just to set the record straight, I am 100% American (first generation, I was born here), my father is Persian, however my name is very much Persian and the Tattoo of Allah is in Arabic on my arm : )

Its very odd how they select individuals, might be better to have a button before you get to the metal detector and have it randomly choose red to be searched or green to go ahead. They deploy this in Bogota, Colombia...however this is not the best way to stop attacks I would presume (fair though)

argghhh I guess profiling is our best option (not that I like it)

Didn't Obama recommend that the female Muslims don't have to go through the scanner and only their faces get patted down?

I believe you are correct. I have not professionally studied law, but as a layman it is my understanding that this is a violation of the Fourth Amendment against unwarranted search and seizure. Furthermore, in this particular case, she was actually arrested without probable cause, a warrant, or reasonable suspicion.

An airline is a private business, and the airport is probably legally private property. As such, my understanding (and please correct me if I'm wrong) is that as a private business, the airline, and as the security for private property (publicly used though it may be,) the TSA, have the right to bar her from flying if she refuses a voluntary search procedure, but that they do not have the right to arrest her for refusing a voluntary search. They can merely insist that she leave the property, and then, and only then, if she refuses, can she be escorted from the property or arrested, possibly, for trespassing. To arrest her simply for refusing this search is unconstitutional and illegal. Am I wrong?

I hope she gets a good constitutional lawyer and goes to town, frankly.

Could you give me the links you have about Russia please. You say the US is getting like Russia used to be in the sixties. l have never heard of the russians putting their citizens through anything like the degradation the US are doing. Children having to go through the process of having strangers with filthy gloves putting their hands inside their underwear spreading infections, The elderly and infirmed having to drop their trousers in full view of strangers. Just to get on a plane. lm not saying the russians were saints, they were not, but to put all of their citizens through this with the consent of the parents too. any information you have on the russians treating their people this. l would be very interested if you could enlighten me and give links please. Thanks.

People are starting to wake up and they soon want have a choice but either to stand or be led like dumb cattle....and many are dumb cattle. I say to hell will these lies and when it comes time I'll stand and trust me when i say they will eventually fall and pay a price they can't begin to imagine. You may end this body of mine but you can't stop the spirit and you know this. Evil

So TSA spokesman is saying people have two choices... 1. Opt out and don't take the flight... or 2 Take the enhanced patdown... refuse either and get arrested.

But havn't I heard that people who choose to opt out are still being arrested and carted off... The Girl from the radio station who opted out was one, she was detained, cuffed and arrested for opting out, I have read many other stories with the same thing happenng.

Looks to me like the TSA are full of crap.. there seems to really two choised alright, but those choices are patdown or arrest... "period"..!!

I will never visit the US again, it's perma off my destination list... your country is turning into very nasty place...

Those 2 idiots actually made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

It is sad that we simply cannot take people like that and drop them on some deserted island so they can stupid each other to death.

p.s. yea, thats right, I used stupid as a verb.

at least she didn't get tased... i dont know what a tsa agent is equiped with as i haven't flown in while, nor do i care to "google it"...

funny though as i had a conversation with a friend the other day about taking a back pack down to the airport, (ABIA as i reside in Austin) and putting some tape around it with some exposed wires and just leaving it in the middle of the airport to halt all traffic for a false flag just to see if it can be done...

and cause im not afraid of the "risks" involved... i work in IT, and within its pratices it is known that there is no way to provide 100% security... an encryption can always be cracked some way, and there are holes that can only be patched when they are recognized... if any terrorist cell or organization thought like penetration testers, there easist methods would be social engineering the tsa, hell one could probablly land a job with them no problem... and just be given access to security areas...

if you cant beat'em join'em.... or just mascarade around as one of them... and then beat them...

hell the only reason we need protection BY the government FROM terrorist, IS because the GOVERNMENT is Creating these TERRORIST so we can be afriad of them and NEED protection...

NV...

You know, the next screening will be before you go to the salad bar / buffet. The current terror alert is Al-Qaeda wants to poison salad bars. Look suspicious at the salad bar and get tazed, cuffed and taken to jail.

Before I stopped flying in the 90's I flew from Pittsburgh to Houston with one suit case full of network gear, parts, wire and tools. Would probably be shot today.

This is what terrorists have done to you, and they love it.

They are trying to break down your country, and they are succeeding.

Say NO to terrorists.
