Mike Tysons former 1990's Ohio mansion is sitting vacant with doors wide open. It was confinscated by the Feds and has sat unoccupied since Tyson moved out. Paul Monea, a career con-artist and Tae-Bo infomercial Fraudster, purchased the mansion from Tyson as an investment property for $1.3 million. The Feds seized the property after finding him guilty of selling the house and a 40 carat diamond to an undercover FBI agent who posed as a drug dealer.

These photos are from Illicit Ohio , a website dedicated to exploring abandon structures.

Is it just me, or did the toilet Mr. Tyson chose closely resemble those nasty cold metal toilets commonly found in jails and prisons across the country? I guess he liked that cold steel feeling in the morning

Yeah, it's pretty damn sad to think the guy had all of this and more, and pissed it all away!

I've never been able to figure out how so many sports stars can get into so much debt, when they have as much as they do. Is it just greed, or do they think the flow of cash will never cease? It takes a lot of training and sacrifice to be a top boxer, so it's not an easy come easy go situation.

Is it that they can't handle the rise to fame / peer pressure / bad advice from managers, etc ?? I just don't get it

And we are all on-board with capitalism still?

This guy was the court jester for years.

Made his money and built this glutinous abomination.

Now it sits and rots?

The state should make it an orphanage or a homeless shelter.

What a waste.

I believe that's Tyson's bidet for washing his backside that looks like a prison crapper.

The man would still own the mansion most likely if Don King hadn't utterly and completely fleeced him while he was in prison.

i always found it hard to watch a don king fight when there were two don king fighters in the ring.
kind of always seems like a fall guy was put in place to make money and to put on a show.

--- and tyson evidently didn't know squat about audio equipment! that's one cheap system there iron M.
;P
