I loved MST3K....

1) show where a family were zapped into another dimention and persued by TPTB of that world
2) some electrical super hero that had a car that could turn 90 degrees at a whim and travel through electrical sockets
3) comedy show with a black genie who would grant wishes of a white guy's whims.

1) Otherworld
2) Automan
3) Only thing I can think of is Pee Wee's Playhouse

Thanks, the first 2 are correct! they've been bugging me for ages.

I've got # 3 solved now..."Just Our Luck"
www.imdb.com...

Wow, I don't even remember this one...must have been when I was out of the country, hehe...(83, yep, I was out then)...

Airwolf vs. Blue Thunder

Oh, definitely Airwolf... It was sleeker, it's weapons were hidden, and had all of the same gizmos and gadgets, but in a sleeker package... Then, there's the whole cloak and dagger bit with Archangel and his all white suits and vehicles.

Though, Blue Thunder's main gun was cooler than Airwolf's chain guns.

Airwolf also had the best episode ever (Moffit's Ghost)....

Yes the 80s were such good memories - childhood times, no stresses apart from some grief at school once in a while.
The best shows for me were
Airwolf
The A Team
Knight Rider
The Adventure Game

I also used to love these cartoons
He-Man
Spiderman
and the old bugs bunny/road runner/speedy gonzales stuff...

Many more but they are the ones that stick in the memory most.

I keep hearing they want to make a live action Thundercats movie...that would rock!
Supposedly, Toby McGuire is making a live action Robotech movie (with him as Rick Hunter). I can kind of see it (I just never thought Toby could act...always plays himself...and that is NOT Rick Hunter).

Check this out (Thundercats making a return next year!)

2011 series

Japanese animation studio Studio 4°C is producing a new ThunderCats animated series scheduled for release in 2011 by Cartoon Network.[16] The show has been hinted at explaining Lion-O's climb to the throne with a more original anime feel and darker style.[17] In early November 2010, former Lion-O voice actor Larry Kenney revealed that he would be playing the role of Lion-O and Tygra's father Claudius in the opening three-part episode of the new series.[18]
Names behind the series: Studio 4°C, which did Matrix anime "The Animatrix" and Batman: Gotham Knights will be handling the artwork and animations. Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10) will be the executive producer. He is joined by Michael Jelenic (Wonder Woman, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) will be the producers for the series. [19]
