Yes just got that. No good calling for the 'experts' in this case. This is way out of normal.

Wait for more. That will have shaken things up.

Tell then to stop drilling Marcellus.

We felt it in TN. Swear just felt a tremor as I was typing this. That is huge for the East Coast. Any reports of damage yet? We just had brief, quick tremors here, nothing serious.

I am on the phone now, Baltimore offices had things shaking off the shelves with this one.

My boyfriend is working in northern VA today and said he was eating lunch when the lights started shaking in the restaurant. Everyone ran out of the building.

His staff in Baltimore evacuated the office,,his staff in northern VA are all freaking out...hope this is not a warning quake.

I'm posting this photo so we can all see! It is not every day we see this - kinda starting to remind me of BK's board photo shop photo. Something is amiss - what's really something to look at is look what lies between today 2 quakes

I'm no expert but it felt like a double, there was a pause after the first quake, then a second a within 20/30 seconds.

I find it weird that two "historic" quakes have happened in the last 24 hours.

I don;t usually get my spidey sense up over this sort of thing, I mean earthquakes are a natural thing that happens and if it was one or the other whatever.

But the one in Colorado and than this makes me think.

Iwas at work in VA beach when it happened. Felt small, although this is the first time I've ever felt anything like it. Was really weird.

I have given up. I can't get into the USGS databases at all. Times out.

A lot of important stuff round that area Norfolk, Langley, DC (Well that is not so important)

Actually I put nukes in the area and took it out again, but are there nuclear powers stations? I believe there are.

That is how it felt here too...like a jolt (pause) jolt. House (w/foundation) shook--hanging light swayed. Dog freaked. I am glad I was home to calm him...if at work he would have been hysterical. He is still not 'right.'

Anyone else have pets acting oddly?
