I see Usgs have it on their 7 days list at 4.4mb

For some reason they used Fijian, Queensland and Alice Springs stations to get the readings, not the NZ Network

neic.usgs.gov...
and they are out by 24km (compared with the GNS plot)
Well at least its there

I haven't been watching, there are enough people "keeping an eye on it"
already.

Looks pretty normal over the last 60 days anyway to me.

Okay, I need my friends input on a new thread I started. I know that there have been an overwhelming number of threads on quake activity (understandably) but mine is about a theory I have been working my way towards here for well over a year now. It just makes sense to me and it involves this recent swarm in nevada.

Putting it all together

What if......????

Thanks Westcoast, been looking forward to reading your new theory.
You've been looking at the quake linkages for some time now and highly recommend everyone take a look.

wow. if you look at the current rsoe page on earthquakes, australia gets a mention numerous times. and for us, thats unbelievable. we almost never get earthquakes. the last one of any news note was the newcastle about 18 years ago where a small number of lives were lost. trust me, when we hear reports of a 2 or 3 point it makes the news here because they are so few and far between. just makes me think with this whole fault line that kind of runs right around the pacific through n.z and japan and the west coast of the americas must really be active for us to be getting shakes. queensland and tasmania would be the both im talking about. the west australia 5 pointer this morning is on the other side of the country.
