I was just checking various weather sites...on a hunch...and found that it looks like about 90% of the U.S. won't be able to see the event! coincidence or something afoot?

Check for yourself...let me know if you have a clear view!

(about to check other populated area in viewing area)

It also seems that 80% of the WORLD is cloud covered right now

I was looking forward to staying awake to see the eclipse...

Coincidence.... But for what it is worth. It looks that it is going to be clear as can be here... If something odd happens I will be sure to let you know.

It figures! The one night that there is something cool in the skies to see they fire Harp up on all cylinders!

I'm in Canada/vancouver area and so far it looks cloudy out!

Theyre definitely chemtrailing it up hard because they know more people than usual will take note of the skies. I have been documenting/telling people about these odd lights in my town and was pumped thinking most people would see them finally getting off their ass and look at the eclipse. Its amazing the ignorance of people, Ive told numerous people what Ive seen and to check them out and without even looking theyll make fun of the idea of little green men and say its just a plane. its a shame really.

its actually cleared up a little bit here in the past hour, but its still like 3 hours until the eclipse starts, so it could easily become obscured again in that time...

hopefully I have some luck and I'll get a good look at things

The weather map you provide does not match your claim of "Cloud cover 90% of the US"

make sure you look at cloud cover satellite...not just radar

Not here is Florida the sky is very clear....

The moon is the brightest is has been in a very long time..

It is about 67 degrees going to be a great night for viewing

At 3:17AM EASTERN -moon will be totally covered in the earths shadow.

The best viewing time will be an hour before time above and an hour after.
