FLORES: Absolutely, that's one of the reasons I wanted to get on Natural Resources is it puts me in the position, not my full jurisdiction over the EPA but I do have some jurisdiction there. I can tell you the House as a whole, the Republicans in the House as a whole want to get rid of the EPA, shut down on these bunny trails that's going down that are throwing people out of work -- particularly the way it's abusing Texas. And I think that Texas can count on getting some relief from the EPA within the first few months of this Congress because they really have gone overboard.

And we keep electing these dirt balls. Texas politicians are a good example of what happens when evolution skips a few generations.
Flores served as CFO for two publicly traded energy service firms from 1986 through 1998. In 1992, one of the two companies, Marine Rig 200, an oil and gas drilling contractor based in Sugar Land, declared bankruptcy. Because of the bankruptcy, the company repaid only $3 million of $10.5 million owed to the U.S. Maritime Administration, which held the mortgage on a drilling rig the company owned.[5] From 2002 to 2006, Flores was the Senior Vice President and CFO of Gryphon Exploration Company.[6]
In April 2006, the Carlyle Group and a group of five oil and gas industry executives, led by Flores as President and CEO, formed Phoenix Exploration Company with a $250 million capital commitment. The company is engaged in oil and gas exploration along the Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico shelf utilizing regional 3-D seismic data.[7] Flores currently is a Director of that company.

I have a question. Why is the title of this thread Lets get rid of the EPA and in the quoted post it says the Republicans in the House as a whole want to get rid of the EPA,.Clearly in the video he does not use the words get rid of. You added the words "Get Rid Of". That is misleading.
UPDATE: An earlier version of this post misquoted Congressman Flores. The title and his comments have since been updated.

It's spelled secede, but instead of being helpful he's mocking your spelling like a child.
