It is called the military industrial complex. The military men(corporations) run the show.
Any military is only as strong as the men who support it. When it comes to uniting the world or destroying the world the numbers are clearly for
unification. Besides, we are going to need a unified approach if we are to have any chance with the greater challenges of space exploration. Yeah
things will be get tense as the truth becomes clearer, some might try and lash out as they are backed in a corner. With a good understanding of the
issues before stepping in it will help limit any damage. There are a lot of good men and women working towards this.
I believe that the FED will not give up power
It is not going to have much of a choice in the matter when the people have spoken.

Federal spending from borrowing is the only thing that has kept the real collapse from happening.
This is what the mass media wants you to believe, keep you scared and in control. This is a complex issue and the more you research it, the better you
will understand it and the more control to you. Keep at it.

Defense spending is only 18% of the budget
There are budgets and there are budgets. Understanding the money flow is a very challenging and difficult task with the way greed has gotten a hold of
the system. Don't stop looking.

The whole concept of politicans buying votes by giving handouts or providing unnecessary control or stuff attractive to groups of voters (socialists
call it wealth transfer) has to end with this economic collapse.
Excellent point. There is going to have to be a lot of public debate, analysis and investigation to piece together a better system. Find out what
works and what does not. Don't forget that we have some great technology these days that could help bring a lot of transparency, accountability and
democracy to the system.
They should supply basic services and do it well.
These are difficult times, but that is usually when people show their best colours. Everyone knows is challenging, but if we all do our little bit we
can all get through this together with a much better system at the end.

Does our legislative bodies really need to be paid 6 figures or more to do there job?
The whole pay structure system does need better review. Here in Australia we have an award system, depending what kind of job you have, a minimum pay
rate is set. The harder you work the more you get paid. It is not comprehensive for society at the moment, but most roles are included. There are also
many other systems available. There will be a lot of discussion about this and it is up to the community to decide how it will respond. It is great to
see that you are at least thinking about these issues, keep it up.
