You're right, the dictionary does define pedophile as an adult who is sexually attracted to young children. BUT......do you know what the word "attract" means? The dictionary defines the word "attract" as "to draw by a physical force causing or tending to cause to approach, adhere, or unite; pull; to draw by appealing to the emotions or senses, by stimulating interest, or by exciting admiration; allure; invite"

So clearly...the intentions of the pedophile is most likely going to reveal itself eventually as an act of (what would seem like to a child) sexual agression. Yea, I know the pedos call it love and blah, blah....but to a child this stuff would hurt and be scary and would scar them for life. Just because a pedo likes something ....doesnt mean the kid will. I say burn them like witches!

What about the kid? Which kids are you speaking of? I have been eagerly awaiting just one post showing where this book lead to the harm of one single child and so far that has not happened. I love the fact that Florida has obscenity laws, but at the same time, it is the smut capital of the world. There are porn shops everywhere with whippets and crackers, whips and chains. There are strips clubs all over the place. What messed up state I live in where this guy is arrested for writing a book, no matter how disgusting the subject matter is.

Everything you say from now on probably won't be taken too seriously. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a religion or anything, but it is a legal document that tells the government what it can and cannot do...you really want to burn that? You can, but ideas cannot be destroyed (ideas of freedom that is). I don't think anyone is defending what he wrote, but simply defending his right to write it.

2 - veracity / source of the material :

what is mr greaves experience / qualification ?

in short how does ne know this info is correct ?????????

bad intelligence on a topic is worse than zero intelligence - as the " bad intelligence " may be treeted as fact by ` appeal to authority ` ,

getting back to mr greaves qualifications - i can find no evidence that he is a psychologist , psychatrist , criminologist , law enforcement officer who would have access to the case notes , studies and reports that would enable an accurate picture of peadophile behaviour to be mapped

so how has he aquired his " knowledge data base " ?????? experience ????????????????

conclusion - a guide FOR peadophiles is , to state the obvious - a guide for peadoiphiles - and has limited use as a guide to peadophiles

whereas a guide TO peadsohpiles has an entierly different adjenda and target audeience - and contains radically different information

my bottom line :

i suppiort a guide to peadophiles - that is accurate and written by an acredited scholar

a guide for peadophiles , written by " who ? " i cannot sanction

As a life long Polk County resident I get to see 1st hand the corruption of the Sheriff department here in Polk County. I myself is a victim of the Polk County Sheriff Departments and Court System here in PC. What I wanna say is this...Grady Judd our Sheriff thinks he is god....the man has some serious issues. While I was incarcerated I spoke out against Judd by only saying what I told you..about him thinking he is a god or the savior and I was put into Isolation for 48 hours. Polk County is full of corruption and they do things like this all the time.

Now to the story on hand....This book is garbage and should not be allowed to be sold or even be printed. But It is free speech. It should be protected under the 1st amendment. There are no pics...just stories. How does that make it illegal. And also how can the Polk County Sheriffs office purchase such a book and not be held under the same laws as this guy who wrote it and is selling it. So what we sent it....freedom of speech and now freedom of enterprise is being crapped all over. The Sheriffs department is way out of line on this one and they know that. Its just Grady Judd is a GOD in his own eyes and in the eyes of his deputies and prosecutors. This is all a show for something else I believe...While this book is bad...this guy shouldn't be punished...and the ACLU and all other body's like the ACLU should step in and help this guy. They would be helping to keep our constitution intact and keeping our 1st amendment the right of the people.

I thought it was for every action there is an equal AND OPPOSITE reaction? This whole thing is blundered... free speech is definately being imposed on and I dont think anyone who posts here in favor of free speech is in any way endorsing what this man writes about. The fact of the matter is, even OJ Simpson wrote a book called "IF I killed my wife" or something and it met problems as well. I feel like, if I want to write a book on how to masterfully kill your pet cat OR how to tamper with evidence at a crime scene I should be able to REGARDLESS of the fact that actually doing these things is illegal. It is legal to publish books on manufacturing drugs and there seems to be no problem with that. The lines are so blurred. You should be able to express yourself verbally and written in any way you choose. The minute you or someone else takes physical act in harming someone or something is when it crosses the line IMO. (Just for the record I dont condone killing cute lil kittiez OR messing with crime scenez! Bad things you must not do! Used as example ONLY!)
