I'm convinced that a great deal of evangelical types, had they taken this quiz, would have had Islam in their top ten results. Islam really isn't much different from Protestant Christianity when you compare the general beliefs - - but don't tell that to the fundies, they do not appreciate being compared to the hated enemy.

My goodness I didn't even consider this. That would certainly cause some fundies to have a conniption.
They would probably think the test was rigged by Godless treehugging peacnic satan worshiping neo-pagan atheist musslims. That was a mouth full.

Thank you, this is just the thing I've been looking for (but I didn't know I was looking for it until you linked it to me)! A star for you.

Took the quiz, apparently I'm a nonthiest, followed by unitarian universalist. Love that church completely accepting of all people regardless of belief. Only place I've seen people gather holding holy bibles, satanic bibles, torahs, qurans, and pentacles. I grew up in a unitarian universalist church and had our "preacher" lead my wedding, good times.

Your results are very interesting to me. The similarity between Hinduism and paganism in this quiz seems to describe a historical connection between the two.

Hinduism, in its most basic form, is paganism; that is to say, both are words used to describe the immemorial folk religion of humanity, in which a divine essence is present in all things, but is personified and worshipped in anthropomorphic or theriomorphic form. More specifically, as Gore Vidal pointed out in his fabulous novel Creation, the Hindus, Persians, Greeks and other peoples who emerged from the anthropological kettle of Central Asia all worshipped roughly the same gods.
