Maybe not what you are looking for, but I just love this,....

My grandfather had this record when I was a little boy and my brother and I would ask him to play it over and over again. I had not heard this song for over thirty years until just now. What a flood of great memories this brought back for me.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

One of the many wassailing tunes, this is a modern one by Blur

I saw 3 Ships (c17th Century)

Getting slightly more religious..

Down in Yon Forest
(c14th-16th Century)

Cherry Tree Carol (c15th Century)

Obviously as I'm from Sussex I'll include the Sussex Carol (c17th Century)
(Lost Irish lyrics that reappeared in Sussex to a new tune)

Coventry Carol (c16th Century)

My fave. although not really a carol would have to be an old Christmas hit here in the UK...

My funniest fave Christmas song, unfortunately could not be posted on here due to T's & C's, lets just say it's a certain "Santa" song by the aussie Kevin Bloody Wilson.

I was just watching a local TV Christmas Show and saw this - I *thought* everyone knew what this was - but now I'm thinking it's more of a regional thing so maybe others haven't seen it.

It's a bit creepy in a way, and very old. A favorite of mine though since it's been run here forever for the Holidays - and - a couple of friends of mine once - him and his wife sung parts of it into their answering machine for a message

Here ya go - It's "Hardrock and Coco and Joe"
