Drunken Tourist Ends Egyptian Shark Menace!

You may remember the story of the shark attacks that were causing havoc along the Egyptian beaches at the height of the tourist season.

The shark attacks were even blamed on Mossad in several threads here on ATS.

However, fear not, the beaches of Egypt are not safe again thanks to one drunken Serbian tourist.

Sharks Wary of Drunk Serbs

[ex Milovan Ubirapa, one of Stevic’s friend who witnessed the incident explained that Dragan had decided to go to the beach for a swim after a long night of drinking. As Dragan and his friends approached the beach, he saw a fairly high positioned jumping board utilized earlier in the day by divers.

“Dragan climbed on the jumping board, told me to hold his beer and simply ran to jump. There was no time for me to react or to try to stop him, he just went for it” says Milovan.

The reason he didn't make a splash is that he landed on the head of a huge shark that swimming near the beach. The shark was killed, the beaches declared safe and our mighty hero has thus far remained humble despite his fame.

At the moment, the fearless hero is in a hospital recovering from alcohol poisoning. After Dragan gets well, he will get a chance to have some more drinks as the resort had awarded the Serb tourist with a free vacation for his heroic deed.

If a single letter of that article is truthful, I'll be amazed. It's worth a S&F for just being a bloody great story...true or otherwise.

Kills a shark by simply jumping on it by accident? How much does this guy weight? A ton?

Haha, heroic deed. Did he know the shark was there? Or was he just being drunk? Thats crazy, almost unbelievable.
