I said instantaneously because that is what the Right did with Obama when he was elected, they didn't let him get past the end of the swearing in ceremony before they were on FOX telling the nation how all of his policies have failed.

So, using that same logic, all of the GOP's Agenda has completely failed.

It makes me wonder, with this massive colossal failure on the GOP's part, did the country make a massive mistake in electing these failures for the next congress?

I mean these tax breaks haven't solved the unemployment problem as the GOP said they would, so how are we to trust anything else they have to offer?

Are you threatening me? I don't appreciate being threatened by you. I don't think I like the idea of you insinuating that you are going to hunt me down if the banks fail.

First, I think your post is misleading, but I understand it is out of frustration. Since the GOP didn't give Obama any slack, you're paying them in the same currency.
Second, I think you are right, there will be no creation of jobs, or wealth, or whatever. It's to late, already was when Obama started nationalizing big business.

I'm not going to play the blame-game here. People in the know, should stop pretending, and start trying to manage the incoming implosion of the American economy. All concerned parties should stop playing this childish blame-game, and start thinking of a way to minimize the damage done, and of strategies for rebuilding, But no, that would be asking to much of politicians.

I would recommend people start reading the Chinese, Indian, and Arab Press, to get a true picture of what the USA is facing.
You are right about the tax cuts. No sane, intelligent, informed, rich person would invest a penny on an economy that has already imploded. The people that haven't already secured their assets, will star doing so, as fast as they can.

Sad, but the truth is, things are going to get much, much worse. I don't see how pointing fingers is going to solve anything.

But that was the reason that the rich needed these tax cuts to continue, the GOP said that it's because of uncertainty that companies weren't hiring. Well, now that uncertainty is gone, they kept their tax cuts, so where are all the jobs?

Now these companies should have put everyone back to work right? Where are the help wanted signs?

I mean I was just as fair and balanced as FOX News is, I gave them a day after the bill was signed into law. Why isn't there a glut of job openings in the paper? We shouldn't have needed the unemployment extension at all because everyone that was laid off in the past two years should now have a job.

I guess it must be a GOP Agenda failure. Using FOX News logic and patience, obviously it's the only explanation.

Now all of your nonsensical posts make sense. Your reading comprehension skills need work. Boondock's post had no insinuation of hunting you down at all--in any connotation. Maybe you should take your pseudo liberal rage and sleep on it for a night instead of making giant logical leaps.

Obama Tax Cut plan would raise taxes for the poor

Billionaire Warren Buffet says ceo's pay less in taxes than secretaries

If you are poor you can thank the government for the fact that your taxes will go up so that the taxes on the rich are not raised the millionaires and billionaires who crashed the economy. While you are scraping up funds for food and housing, you get to pay more this year so that the rich do not get a 4% tax increase. Lord knows that would simply crash the economy, what would those rich people do if they had $50,000 less to put in their bank account? Oh no!

Fork over the bill peasants, you have to feed your masters!

LMAO! Are you serious? If you were rich, would you invest in this economy? So, like wow, they get to keep their money for an extra 2 years. You have done them such a big favor there
I am not rich, and even I am planning to bail out of this economy at the end of next year. Why continue to support moochers?
Where are all the jobs? Look to China, Brazil, India. Why are they there? Because people like you don't buy American. We used to have a top notch textile industry? What happened to it? Look at the automotive industry, hell look at any industry. Why are our factories rusting? Why are all the help desk jobs in India? Refuse to deal with foreigners! Refuse to buy products not made at least 51% in America and let companies know that we will only buy American. Next year only buy products made at least 60% in America and so on. You Damn Libs, get out of the way and lets start drilling for our own oil and natural gas. Lets start using more coal, let's build more dams and nuclear plants. People are more important than owls or snail darters. Can you not figure that out yet? Unions, stop destroying the companies you work for! When you drive labor costs too high, the owners are going to run for the border. Governments stop giving tax breaks to companies that export jobs. We need protectionism again. We need a truly level playing field. Asking our companies to compete directly with China's slave labor and environmentally destructive policies is death for our economy. You can see it, it is happening now.

Tax cuts pass for all

U.S. Rep. John Boccieri, taking one of his last votes before leaving office, said the tax compromise signed into law Friday was a “hard pill to swallow.”

Boccieri supported the bill, a compromise reached between President Barack Obama and Republicans, who will take over the House and his 16th District Congressional seat next month. The bill extends the Bush tax cuts for all Americans, including the richest 2 percent, and also provides extended unemployment benefits for jobless Americans.

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

Ok GOP, you got your tax cuts for your wealthy buddies. Where are all the jobs at? Now you don't have the excuse that businesses who are reporting record profits are worried about their tax bill to use, so where are all the jobs? Shouldn't these companies have started hiring already?

Shouldn't we see the unemployed numbers be cut in half?

I say complete failure on the GOP's part. Tax cuts obviously do not equate to job growth and the GOP has failed.

Obviously the entire Republican agenda is a failure as well.

Don;t make it too easy Mr. Wuk

Truth is we are very close to being out of the crisis (from a credit/jobs stance)
Our real American friends will gladly pretend that their recent victory and tax cuts were the trick, while ignoring massive amount of heave hoe they opposed which helped bring about this "turn around".
I swear by all I believe this will happen, politics is getting so very predictable, as much as I would like
to Grandstand, Oppose and Pretend, I see the writing on the wall.

Not gonna happen - this system is too nice and we are too comfortable.
All of a sudden the Tea Party decides to retire, when my observations of the last decade
would suggest hyper vigilance instead. All the "liberalism" the GOP will enact needs to be
curtailed, then again it is a great way to roll out the Tea Party, protest your own policies and
results, by pawning them off on others.

But really I am thrilled to jump on the lot of you when your boys push the NAFTA for Asia type policies
that are slated up. Hell I recall conservative ATS when Bush was in office, protect him like pitbulls then,
complain about him after. I really hope you guys are far more genuine then I believe - The typical thing is
to morph and grow into liking something, that is how conservatives work here, liberals tends to
grow out of liking things, pay attention and many of you will see how this works. Again I hope you guys are for real -

There are jobs available,if you want to work.

At the moment unemployed Americans DO NOT want to work.

I have not worked for 2 years.

I have a retirement and just do not need to.

At some point I placed my resume on a online search site.

I receive inquires almost weekly about job offers.

Starting wage is $18 an hour.

This web site is very interesting.

It takes all employment offers from various sites and puts them on one site.

www.indeed.com...

There are jobs out there if anyone wants one.

I think we should get some more dems, erm progressives erm socialists in.

That way we can be just like California, Illinois, New York and your great state of Michigan.

So how is Michigan doing with it's history of wealth redistributing marxists?

Doing well? Maybe they can tax some more and create wealth.

Ask corporate what happened to them. Who cares? Its either Republi-Corporate or Demo-Corporate it doesn't matter which side you align with THEY ARE BOTH CORPORATE OWNED AND SPONSORED!

Wake up!

Ya you are clearly full, you might think about sitting on the jon for a spell -

The people who don't file or pay have to earn less than $8,375 in a year -

Above that and people are taxed at 15% - $8,375 - 34,000

Then 25% 34,000 - 82,400

Your faulty talking point is very close in design to the lies the French elite created and spread to justify their tyranny just prior to the French Revolution. Wealth worship, American idol and subjugation go hand in hand.

You actually lie to protect the interests of Billionaires BTW

My guess (and that's all that it is) is that some jobs may be coming from this and a meeting Obama had with some top CEO's and investment firms on the 15th.

I covered the meeting with the CEO's in this thread.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

If you scroll down towards the end of it I have a quote from the CEO of Motorola where he hints that a bit of "lets make a deal" went on with regards to jobs and taxes during the meeting.

I suspect this tax bill may be part of that deal. If so, now we'll have to see if US businesses live up to their end of it.

Just to let you know whatukno-

Not raising taxes, is not a tax cut.

I don't know if you get that, do you?

You might be watching and listening a little too much of the MSM if you believe not letting taxes go up, is a tax cut.

Hey pal!!!

Are you ready for your friends pushing their new free trade agreements?

I bet you like that - should I pull out the NAFTA votes?
