With all the "who is your favorite/crush/role model" threads going around... It occurred to me that it is easy to claim the popular kids... The well respected... The beautiful. But it is entirely a different thing for us to cop to liking some of the less mainstream posters.

It takes a little more courage to admit to liking the barking chihuahua than it is to snuggle with the fluffy cocker spaniel.

So, ATS... Which posters are your guilty pleasures? Who are the avatars or names you look for, and star and flag, in spite of yourself?

I have TWO and will name them after this thread gets moving!

Hahahah! I couldn't help but to laugh! I think ET_MAN, Boondock_Saint, ProtoplasmicTraveler, and IX-777 AKA Maggador Edward Alexander provided some pretty interesting threads since I've been roaming around these parts of the internet.

My favorite posters, based upon their information and opinion only, are the following in no specific order:

mblahnikluver, Hefficide, FortAnthem, Skid Mark, Lady Skadi, DimensionalDetective, Spartan King Leonidas, Intastellaburst, Projectvxn, and Schrodingers Dog.

There are many names I have forgotten, this does not mean you are not important to me!

I've gotta say Phage. That guy is just amazing.

I've got two favorite "kinds" of people.

I like the people on this website who try to find humor in the these threads. Many of them are very serious, or negative, and comedic relief is definitely appreciated.

I also like the people who wait like hawks for the profound stories to pop out of the woodwork, and who add real insight to these topics instead of staying in "the box of possibilities". There are definitely some thread-makers out here who clearly enjoy writing and learning, and try to pass on their perspective instead of puking out rumors or articles from Foxnews and calling it good.



That guy with the Neo avatar and the 30,000 flags/stars is doing pretty good in my book.

Good idea for a post, Heffmeister, but somewhat embarrassing. While we're miles apart on some core beliefs, I find myself giving davespanners quite a few stars for some reason and Russo drives me crazy sometimes with previously debunked ufo vids but ya gotta love the good-natured goof.

There's a couple more that always surprise me that I would star them regularly, but can't bring 'em to mind right now. This one will be a blast to follow.
