and regarding the jizya its much more less for the none muslims plus protection and they don't even take part in any war.
but the tax on muslims is 2.5% from their annual savings it is called zakah

1- I think that I have shown you the whole verse and proved that you have taken the verse out of context

2- the myth about the extra tax on Non-Muslims , there is no such thing as extra tax on non muslims in Islam , in fact it is much less than the tax that is imposed on the muslims , and I know that it doesn't exist right now but it used to and even if it happens in the future.

we are not talking about interpretation here , we are talking knowledge .

and excuse me for saying this and don't take it as an offence , you sir will never teach me my religion , and don't even think about it , because you just read what you want about Islam and leave the rest , but i know my religion very well cuz i was born arab muslim and come from a family that has been a muslim ever since this religion started.

oozyism - your thread made something pop in my head and I wanted to ask you about it.

Over the years some have used and twisted the words of the Bible and the Christian faith to suit their own ends. Often times to do things (or lead others to do things) that were actually against the Christian faith - but yet they claimed they were following it - and it often led to people assuming the actions of these represented the true faith of Christianity.

Would you say they same happens with Islam sometimes?

If so, what's the answer to stop it? Is for when this happens for the followers of the faith to stand up and say, "No, this person has it wrong. He says he is acting in accordance to my faith - but he is not." - or something else?

I typically disagree with you on many issues, but I agree with you on this.

I do disagree with Islam as a religion, but it's enough to disagree with it on factual premises. Thank you for clarifying something about your religion.

I think you will find this is a more accurate and enlightening appraisal of myths about islam - In the end whatever weasel words and misdirection are used, in the end you will know them by thier fruits - Islam has been on a 1400yrs spree of conquest and invasion and fully intends to conquer the entire world - as indeed they are mandated to do by the Koran, thier current tactic is a stealth demographic jihad against the Western world - with the object to 'boil the stupid infidel frog slowly' - hence the graet effort put forth by Muslim dissemblers to give the illusion that there is a moderate majority, that they are just misunderstood etc etc.

So it is okay in a "declared war" to mass target and murder civilians in the thousands? America declares war on Iraq first, so it is okay for Iraqi soldiers to destroy and slaughter the American CIVILIAN population?


While completely unrelated to Islam, and probably not related directly to "terrorism", and arguably not what America is about now (although many would disagree), I still find it amazingly depressing that there are still some out there who DEFEND what America did there...

Whatever your message is, Sharia law should not be tolerated in a free democratic society. The irrational prejudice it causes should be treated with great concern to the members of society who wish to remain as free as can be.

You say you want to spread it peaceful, we are already peaceful in the Western world, we do not wish to have theocracy encroaching on our secular society, imposing laws.

Superstitious, metaphysical claims should remain as a faith, and not enter into state matters.

Just remember secular democratic society has braught on the rights of women, men, blacks and minorities, homosexuals. Can theocratic societies in the middle east honestly say the same?

Yet they come here where we have more freedom and wish to take it away and educate our children with the belief in the invisible.

I say this is evil and irrational.
