But can you prove it? I mean, I am able to prove what I am stating, yet you have no proof as to what you are stating, so give hard evidence as to what you are stating, statistics and other things that would prove your statement.

You seem to be saying, :"Don't confuse me with the facts, just read my Holy Book."

You are judged by your fruit (actions).

Your "Holy Book" is useless to a non-believer in Islam.

Non-believers in Islam judge you by your actions.

By the actions of followers throughout the world it has been shown that Islam IS a violent religion.

edit on 19-12-2010 by romanmel because: (no reason given)

If you want to judge Islam based on its fruits, maybe you should judge them based on the majority, not the extreme minority.

Tell that to those slaughtered Christians in Nigeria.

How does "the majority" propose to reverse their violent deaths at the hands of "the extreme minority"..

This may all be true...

but this IS NOT how this religion is preached!

So forget all you wrote there, it may be written in the book but its not how its received and perceived by those who read it.

Like when priests rape and molest kids in Churches, it must be a Christian thing, even though the Bible doesn't support it?

The priests don't claim that it is part of the religion. It is just their sin.
The Imams claim the beatings of women and the murder of non-muslims is part of Islam.

ummm, doesn't make sense to me.

cuz you don't want it to.

Quran is the source of Islam. Quran defines Islam. Quran defines Muslims.

Oh how yummy! Thanks for that!

1 - The Qu'ran isn't from God. It was written by a mass murdering thief and liar. Therefore the source of Islam is not from god. The source of Islam is murders, thefts and lies. The Qu'ran is full of errors and contradictions. Therefore, the definition of Islam is errors and contradictions. So you, oozyism, have defined Muslims as followers of something not from God, but instead are followers of a book of errors and contradictions written by a mass murdering thief and liar.

2 - Again .. Islam is just like in Christian circles .. the priests and ministers put their own interpretation on everything in scripture and so it is absolutely impossible to say that the bible is the definition of christianity. Likewise with Islam.

Try harder.

Just want to point out, Christianity is by no means innocent in the modern day either, in terms of having caused bloodbaths. Though as we all should know by now it's not the religion itself that causes it, whether it's Islam or Christianity. It's the people who use and manipulate religion for their own ends and purposes, who seed hate and dissent among humanity, that are to blame.

With that said, I present to you, The Lord's Resistance Army.

That's just so that we're clear on the fact that it's not just Islam that is used as an excuse for massmurder.

Edit to add: Would the Christians of ATS say that the Lord's Resistance Army is representative of all Christians? If not, why don't you turn the table and use that mode of thinking in regard to Islam as well?

Sadly ATS has always been like this.

The Anti-Muslim threads are ever present.

There is always some sensationalistic thread about Muslims.... always.

And all the Anti-Muslim folks will be in them telling stories and just feeding off each other and it gets worse and worse.

So the following real world events didn't take place, they were all made up?

Over 30 terror attacks by US Muslims have not been foiled in the USA since 9/11

NY police department states that the NY Muslim community is becoming more radicalized

Islamic radicals threaten to blow up the Ground Zero pastor

10% of US Imams preach Jihad inside US Mosques

Five US nationals arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of plotting an attack

Ghandi said "We must be the change we want to see",
What get's me about Islam is it's unwillingness to change.
If anything, it's actually getting worse. The sharia law should be modified if Islam want's the world to accept them woth open arm's.

Then why does the Islamic world follow the Clerics, like they speak for god? 99% of the Muslims out there, will attend a mosque, their thinking of and about Islam is shaped by the Clerics,

Another myth;
I find it ironic that non-muslims have such an obsession with
leadership, lol.
Islam has no diocese, bishops, or a need for God to have partners.
It seems non-muslims just can't get over this fact.

Muslims at New Zealand's largest mosque claim its Pakistani imam taught jihad or holy war and preached on the need for men to make as many babies as they could with burqa-wearing women.

Incorrect. Martyrs do enter heaven straight away.

That's right.

While everyone else has to wait until the end of time to find out if they are getting into Heaven, Muslims who die in violent Jihad get to go to heaven immediately (by virtue of dying in violent jihad) and enjoy their 72 virgins.

It kind of says something about the nature of Islam, does it not?

Hm. I felt this odd sense of pride for you, for having found that parable. Turns out you were quoting another poster, but that's okay, you still produced it.

I am familiar with the passage, and it is a parable, along side a parable that contains a well known message about the "talents", which all are given and some squander while others develop their talent into multiple and more powerful ones.

The bridegroom parable is about being prepared. Just as the virgins didn't know when their bridegroom was going to come, no one knows when judgment day will come. Some were prepared, and some were not.
That's all it is about. The virgins were not a reward, and none are promised in the afterlife.

It's about being prepared for the second coming.

But anyway, thank you for responding to my post.

Did "Lord's Resistance Army" blow up the towers on 9/11? How many people have LRA killed in the name of God? How many wars have been started and/or perpetuated by LRA? many of all the above happened from Muslims?

The numbers are drastically far apart.

It's not a religion of peace.

There is no such thing as a religion of peace when that religion calls for the extermination of all non-believers.

Nice Muslim apologist thread.

Considering this "religion" was created by a pedophile, it needs all the apologies it can get.

Multiculturalism In Trouble
From the desk of Herbert Grubel on Fri, 2010-12-17 18:19

The PVV, an anti-immigrant party in the Netherlands, recently won the elections and participated in the negociations that led to a new government. As a result, this party has had an important direct influence on immigration policies. More indirect influence on policies have been achieved by anti-immigrant parties, which have recently gained 29 percent of the votes cast in Switzerland, 22 percent in Norway, 17 percent in Austria, 14 percent in Denmark and 5.7 percent en Sweden. (In the 2008 federal elections in Canada 6.9 percent of the vote went to the Green party and 18.2 percent to the NDP). In Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel caused a stir around the world when recently she said “Multiculturalism in Germany has failed”.

Actually, no, the LRA didn't blow up the Twin Towers, but then again, neither did Islam.

That's just one example, bro. There's more where that came from. In fact, I'm going to start a thread about Christian terrorism soon. Why don't you stop by? Might be an interesting read.

Edit to add: It just struck me, it's quite morbid to compare the success rate between two forms of terrorism. Just because the LRA haven't murdered as many people as Al-Qaeda doesn't mean they don't want to.

Myth 2, that is disputable. As recent events have stated, the Islamic world, when major countries, where Islam is the major belief in the world, are willing to threaten a person over an idea, then that proves that is not a myth.

Recent examples are

Pakistan: Islamists slaughtering teachers who teach children of both sexes in violation of Sharia

Egypt: Attacks on Christians Intensify

Indonesia: American on Trial for Insulting Islam

Sudan: Women are punished with '600,000' lashes a year

Sudan: Christian leader narrowly escapes Muslim assassination attempt< br />

Australia: Muslim cleric calls for beheading of Dutch politician

I agree, but sad when those apologizing never have taken the time to read into Islam laws.

What Muslim around here doesn't tell is that Islam law doesn't allow the coexistence of any other religion around them that is why in Islamic countries is not such thing as tolerance and those that are of none Islam believes are persecuted.

Religion: According to Islam, both Jews and Christians are characterized by disobedience and by refusing to accept the Last Prophet—Muhammad. This lack of religious integrity is damning and so these dhimmis cannot express their religious beliefs without poisoning the Muslim state.

A realistic view of Islam, in terms of civil and human rights, is within the Muslim state no person has these types of American constitutional rights. They are unimagined in the Qur’an. But if anyone had such rights, it certainly would not be dhimmis. Shahid explains the basic modern restrictions against dhimmis in an Islamic state, which takes much from the Covenant of Umar.

Regardless of the preaching around here that Islam is peaceful and can coexist with other religious is a bit lie.

Once the Islam is pushed into other nations is no other law but that of Islam.
