Seriously, moderation is the key. Exercise is also key.

Sorry we don't understand 'moderation' at my feasts

Damn, you aren't related to Bacchus are you?

To control metabolism and reduce viscera body fat only takes 10 minutes of the right kind of exercise, every second day.

Who could not find that kind of time if they had their priorities straight ?

Not to be a dick but do you have any kids? It takes time, money and energy to raise them right. By the end of the day I think I have my priorities straight. It's my kids and then, DAMN, I don't have the energy to do those "10 minutes".

Edit: I eat properly though. One thing I can control on a time limited basis.

But ... But .... What if you are trying to maintain a reserve for when the # hits the fan in 2012 (or whenever) and the aliens come and blow up all the shopping centers and the food supplies become spoiled and the comet hits and creates wide spread climate changes and the WW3's nukes poison all the game and the galactic centers' radiant waves shift the poles and the sun becomes super active and fries the atmosphere and electrical grids and an epidemic kills off all life forms and you suddenly become very ill and are unable to eat because you contract Ghonna-Herpa-Siphilaids . . . Hmmmm, Hmmm, what then !?! Smart-skinny guy

Wow, maybe more Americans will survive because they thought ahead and packed on a few pounds!

I was just joking DW. I eat a lot of veg. LOVE broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, etc. I really hate lettuce though.

Broccoli is georgous if your stir fry it with garlic and soy sauce, look, im embarressed to say i work for Macdonalds, not behind the counter, im in the restaurant looking after customers, blowing up baloons etc, needs must it was better than working in a pub, i cant really understand why people enjoy the food, its BLAND. Although i have to say in there defence, dont worry about food poisening because the kitchens and the practices are mega clean. I still think they should do more salads; pipe dream....

Having kids is even more of a reason to stay fit. I was always saddened my Dad couldn't go on tramps with me because he was overweight.

I would want to be setting an example in every area of my life.

In other words, "No". You don't understand the toll raising kids takes on a persons time and energy.

You need to go to a Doctor.

Most people have about 3 mini cardiac events prior to a big one.

Humans have been raising kids for a pretty long time.

But widespread obesity is only a new problem.

Explain to me again how being a parent makes you fat ?

Deny ignorance indeed.

This looks like it would be a good topic for the Debate Forum. Would you like to debate this?

No doubt that raising kids does take ALOT of time, but it's in their best interests for you to be there for a long time, so the time you invest in yourself is also an investment in them as well.

What's to debate. The " I am a parent excuse" holds zero water on so many levels. I know parents who hold down jobs and exercise. I know parents who don't.

The only person who is going to win the argument is your mortician.
