To all you non Americans please feel free to read along
While I have a few words with my country folk..

No, this isn't going to be directed at all of you...

If you are in denial about your weight problem or are happy being fat and don't care to be criticized then you had better continue shoveling whatever it is you're eating into your pie hole at the moment and just click out of this thread! NOW!

If you're fat due to medicine that is required for life sustaining purposes. Then you are exempt from the following. If you're fat because of depression due to a recent close family member or loved one passing or anything equally as distressing, then you are exempt from the following as well. BUT I HAVE MY EYE ON YOU!

You Are a disgusting FAT-BODY America!

You aint "BIG BONED" You're FAT!

You don't have a "Gland Problem" You're FAT!

Guys, stand straight up and then look straight down. Can you see your junk?

No?

You're FAT!

Ladies, Do you need a shoe horn to get in and out of those jeans?

Yes?

You're FAT!

Obese Americans will die earlier than healthier peers, study says
The researchers said that obese Americans are now two thirds of the U.S. population and half of the people in developed nations are either overweight or obese. Other studies have linked obesity with earlier deaths but this study is the first to include overweight people and their own risk for dying.

This is directed at those individuals who are IN denial and have kept reading this as well as those who know they are fat and want to do something about it.

To those who are in denial....

With your Jimmy Dean pork linked sausage looking fingered hands push yourself away from the keyboard, stand up and then roll your fat butts over to the bathroom scale and weigh yourselves. Go on....

I'll wait here.....

Well?

Did you like what you saw?

Could you even see the scale?

No?

You're FAT!

Well what are you going to do about it? Look at your desk. Go on, Look at it! Are there any fast food wrappers on it? Any junk food wrappers or any pop cans? {Yes Diet too} <-- What a joke. Do you have any fast food or Chinese take out food joints phone numbers on speed dial? Then you may have a problem.

When giving driving directions do you instead of giving land marks or street names say something similar to this....

Yeah go about two blocks south until you see McDonald then hang a left, go about a block until you see a Jack in the Box on the right. Make a right there, continue on passing the Pizza hut on the left until you hit Taco Bell, there you will make a right, then go to Subways which is across the street from 7-11 The bank you want is next door.

Yes?

You're FAT!

Total Obese Americans to Reach 42%
Obesity takes a toll on the economy too. CDC data puts the total cost of obesity-related healthcare expenditures at $92.6 billion. Wow, that would buy a lot of burgers and fries...with a diet Coke of course.

JEEZ-US-H-KRSIT!
$92.6 billion! You're a threat to the economic security of this great nation!
You oughta be ashamed of yourself!!!

Guys
This is how you see yourself

This is how everybody else sees you

Gals
This is how you see yourself

This is how everybody else sees you

Weight gain seems to change the brain's response to food
Most people probably find drinking a milkshake a pleasurable experience, sometimes highly so. But apparently that's less apt to be the case among those who are overweight or obese.

Overeating, it seems, dims the neurological response to the consumption of yummy foods such as milkshakes, a new study suggests. That response is generated in the caudate nucleus of the brain, a region involved with reward.

Researchers using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) found that that overweight and obese people showed less activity in this brain region when drinking a milkshake than did normal-weight people.

You dont need a drill instructor to be on your rear 24/7! All it takes is making a choice to do something about it. Start slow.
All it takes is one pound at a time. You are worth it.

I'm not saying and posting all of this just to have some fun. I have this past year lost 34lbs. I know what it's like to be thin and in shape and over weight and depressed. I have never been obese but I could have easily slipped down that path. I started going for walks after dinner, Cutting back on snack/JUNK food. Eating more lean meats and vegetables. Less greasy fast foods/carry out. After a few weeks I lost a few pounds and started with some basic push-ups and sit-ups etc.

In the end it's up to you. If you are overweight and happy. Then it doesn't matter. But if you're not happy. Do something about it. Try this, this Holiday season instead of just gorging yourself get up and dance with family, friends and loved ones while working off that gravy and tators!

Do a little dance. Make a little love.
Get down tonight!

Very funny stuff.

I myself am pretty damn fat but at least I admit it

Something needs to be done about it but obesity education, much like drug education, seems to just create educated abusers. I think it all should start with parents passing on healthy eating habits and lifestyles to the kids, in just a few generations we could have this problem licked... Eww... licking and fat people don't belong in the same sentence

I use to weight 225 now I weight 208 thanks to careful eating and exercise. $&F.
